My Flame angel has been a perfect citizen in my reef tank for 3 years now. I got lucky, my favorite fish in the tank. I also got really lucky with a blue damsle not being a complete jerk

Love it!!! How do you feel about the annularis angel (blue ring) always wanted to add one to my 300 g Fowler mixed reef ? Can’t find much info about them but the colors are gorgeous

Great fish. One of my top five in 30 years of running a store and more designing and maintaining over 75 retail businesses but mostly doctors' offices and high-end customers tanks. One customer had a 300 g hex. With 7 LARGE angels. When I was under the tank doing maintaince the would make a sound that actually sounds like a group of dogs "barking" at each other. Never heard that sound in any other setting. And yes, the magnificent Annularis was among the group.

You know Brock even though you always advise people not to put angelfish in a reef tank which is understandable cuz majority of them pick at coral Have you ever heard of the Japanese swallowtail angelfish? I heard they’re one of the few angelfish that are reef safe! I actually own a male and a female pair in my 55 gallon! I run a FOWLR tank but I heard from sources and LFS staff that they’re one of the few reef safe angels.
