Brocock Ranger XR First Impressions

I guess these days every gun shop will need to have a good you tube channel in order to generate business and showcase what is coming. However, it would be really useful if you guys did a pros and cons video as well as an in depth look at the construction of what you were reviewing . And then concluded this with a accuracy test at 30 metres. This way you do a real un biased review rather than just another gushing sales pitch.

We were surprised it was legal ourselves but I can assure everyone it is fully legal

Of course it's legal in UK ,Brocock would not be allowed to market it if it were slightest bit illegal. It's a brilliant rifle and now it's my go to rifle

Guage in the wrong place... barrel to short for me..and a moderator should be standard instead of an extra cost..

Yes and no I think, the S510T is still a full length rifle that doesn't fold down so this Brocock is still very different

I've got the Ranger xr, on this review you didn't seem sure a bout the folding stock mechanism, have you worked it out , I needed a bit of practice to get my head round it, very good review , one gripe they should sell them with the full weaver mounts

Quick question how well will a pard008 fit on this rifle? am thinking of the magazine fit under the mount and getting the pard far enough back.

You may need the additional weaver rail on top of the 9-11mm standard rail, this will left the scope up and over the magazine so will be able to fit the NV008 just fine

I don't know if there are any lighter than the Ranger but it is certainly one of the lightest!

AEA Element also named Remington Element is half the weight of the Brocock, the AEA comes in at 2.8 pounds unscoped and has a folding stock

In response to "what more do you want!" Well personally how about around four or five hundred quid change from the £1100 plus retail price! 😮 Cheeseus fellas how can these prices be justified? Air gun shooting is becoming a rich man's sport.

This is a poor demo in GUN SAFETY by anyone's standards the weapon is constantly being pointed at Lawrence's head and body during the demonstration this is definitely sending the wrong message to people especially new to shooting and the range and I would hope this is not common practice at your range. It must be assumed a pcp is always loaded as one is unable to see that the breech is clear the old saying applies the gun is always loaded and the horse always kicks.

Hi Ron, all our demonstration rifles are checked and cleared by both of us before the video but yes we will make sure not to give off the wrong message to new shooters in future videos
