The Steelers traded up three spots to #14 overall to select Georgia LT Broderick Jones. Jones is 6'4 311lbs and is only 21 years old. He started all 15 games for Georgia last season and started in both National Championship wins. In 2022, he allowed ZERO sacks and ZERO holding calls on 445 snaps. @@backwoodhomi3 true very true I mean pat pete did say he wanted to play 2 more years & the way I see it levi wallace contract is up after this season so we could still draft a CB & branch for pat pete to groom for a season to replace levi wallace next season & still have a solid draft if porter jr ain't the pick if it's branch to be our hybrid safety that can hit & be our slot corner for a season or 2 until keanu neal contract is up this way he can play next to minkah in 2025

@@ManofSteel-uw5lu yeah that’s what i say is best for us is to have Pat Pete groom a young corner with high upside. i think Porter Jr is that guy. i was hoping we could get JPJ at 32 and grab a linebacker like maybe Drew Sanders or maybe even that TE Darnell Washington who is a fantastic blocking tight end

We got one of the best Left tackles in the draft if not the best.Omar traded a 4thrd pick to move up and got that pick back in the 3rd Rd .Omar is a genius.I wanna see Jones pull and ram a corner or safety.He is like an athlete.he can play basketball and can dunk . He will be elite with the Steelers.

Probably not a future Munoz or Pace, but it's great to see a very good future Steeler LT. I've been cheering since '72, and our elite O lonemen have been mostly centers, ( Webster, Dawson, Pouncey ) or guards( Faneca , DeCastro ) .
