This isn't Michael Cerveris. It is Matthew Bennett, who understudied the role of Andrews during the first two years and then took it over completely after Cerveris left the show.

I don't remember the cast members being up top when I saw it. Maybe I was totally concentrated on Cerveris. Of course its been 18 years since I saw it.

How did this show deal with all the risk of injury?

The risk of injury wasn't very high, mostly because of how trained the actors were with the set.

@@supernintendo1951 Indeed. Their choreographer made sure to train the whole casts' bodies to deal with the strains that the tilting set would put on them, which likely made the risk of injury far lower. I have mad respect for that set, though. That thing is awesome.

Mr. Cerveris, you are simply inimitable. While this video was a great performance, it doesn't hold a candle to the intensity and interpretation of your rendition. I have been cast as Mr. Andrews in the Portland Players (South Portland, Maine) production of Titanic: A New Musical opening May 18, 2018 and I hope I can do the role half the justice your performance did!
