My son Remus was the same way, he would wait by the window just to watch the garbage truck pass by and get all excited. 🚂Trains were his second favorite. So eventually I decided to get him two 🚚garbage toy trucks for Christmas and he was thrilled beyond belief. 🕷️🐝🐛🦋🐞Bug watching is his 3rd favorite 😆 I love children they make the world a happier place ❤️

I drive garage trucks and it's not the easiest job sometimes, but seeing how happy the kids get when I pull up makes it 100% worth it! Especially when they do the arm pump thing and I get to blow the horn for them. That's about as much fun for me as I'm sure it is for them!

Something similar happened to me once as well! I was 10 at the time, and I asked my grandfather who was driving near the area to drive me around the area. But I think he misunderstood me because before I had time to think, he was driving into the center. I knew we were gonna be turned away since we weren’t waste management employees but the manager came out, greeted us, then allowed me to select which truck I wanted to look at. They had a older diesel Peterbilt front loader and some new Mack LR’s with zr bodies. Despite me liking the Peterbilt, I decided on the Mack because why wouldn’t I? It was a brand new truck right out of the factory. The manager helped me into the truck and STARTED it. All the monitors flashed to life and I couldn’t BELIEVE I was sitting in the driver’s seat of a garbage truck. Then afterwards, we had to leave. I sadly do not remember the truck number as I would follow it down and film it, but it was still one of the coolest experiences in my life. Sadly, my Grandfather contracted cancer 5 months later and died after a year and a half battle. 😭
