We holidayed in NL just before Covid. We decided not to base ourselves in Amsterdam and instead just caught a train into the city and did a lonf canal tour. We based ourselves in Utrecht and fell in love with the city. It was the perfect hub to catch trains to Delft, Haarlem and several other smaller towns our favourite being Amersfoort - just lovely. Dutch people are lucky to live in such a historially interest and beautiful country with Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg so close to enjoy. I have previously stayed in Roermond as a young soldier visiting from Germany - it was a fun city 45 years ago!

That’s amazing, yeah normally you only visit the main city and if you go outside you find this amazing beautiful spots to visit and enjoy, you have to go back to re live the moments 😁🤗
