As someone who had their dream wedding, let me preface by saying I loved my wedding, it was our first big family get together after Covid, HOWEVER👀👀looking back on it now, I wouldn’t do it again! I would save that money and travel somewhere! I loooove that y’all are doing this sort of wedding/honeymoon, it’s so different and unique I am all here for it! And the fact y’all are hitting multiples cities and countries😩😩so excited for you both😊😊😊 Weddings to me are soooo overrated, pricy, people no show, call you the day before AAAAAND the day of🤦🏾‍♀️never again lol People always say “you’re gonna miss out” well how can I miss out on something I’ve never wanted/had?

I’m so happy that you two are doing your wedding YOUR WAY…. I’m 55 and have had 2 marriages, the first one was when I was 23. I had the wedding your “supposed “ to have. Guests, sit down meal, & reception…it cost a lot of money and was very stressful. I’ve been with my husband now for 25 years and our wedding was perfect! We did what we wanted which was just a small outdoor wedding in a beautiful location with only the people who were most important to us. The only person who matters is standing waiting for you so nothing else matters! I think you’ll be very happy you did it the way you wanted.❤️

The best news of all is that Benji is on the back side of heart surgery! So happy for you and your families. ❤ I had the big wedding. And it was lovely. But the stress, the extensive planning, and the amount of money spent give me pause. I think (but who really cares 🤣) you are doing it exactly right. I personally will be thrilled with any bits you choose to share. I grew up watching soap operas. These days I’m personally invested in my You Tube family and watching them grow and experience milestones. I much prefer it. so hyped for you doing your wedding how you and Benji want to do it, my biggest regret with my wedding in 2021 is that I people pleased and really didn't listen to myself. Had a wedding that, while good as I married the love of my life, was something neither of us really wanted. We'd have been happy on the beach in the sun with our kids and mam's. Maybe our sisters 😂 instead ended up with a traditional church wedding etc. So excited for you, enjoy it all!

Hi Brogan i watch your videos when im washing up it helps me get through boring jobs. I love listening to your blogs it is like listening to a friend. Im a planner too and when we went to disney world florida in February, your videos helped so much. Im so glad Benji is doing well, that's fantastic news. Lots of nice hotels in central Auckland, if you want something fancy, Sky City Grand is really nice and right in the centre of the city. Miller Road Fragrances do workshops where you book a class (about 2hrs) and design your own perfume from scratch. My husband and I did it recently and it was an Amazing experience… And you would each get to create your own wedding scents and name/design your bottle, which you can reorder ongoing ❤

Some Auckland ideas for you: Giapo ice cream - delicious ice cream with loads of different crazy cones (google them even if you don't go), its a proper experience. I took mine down the road to the harbourside to eat. Walk to the top of Mt Eden, an extinct volcano- theres great views over the city from up there and its really cool to see, not too strenuous a walk either and you can get the bus to close by. If either of you are in any way into rugby (no idea if you are) then the Eden Park stadium tour is a must do (it was the first thing I did after landing and dropping my back at the hostel). Theres also a few really cool museums - the war memorial museum was amazing (don't be put off by the name), its a natural history museum telling the story of Maori and the people of the Pacific Islands

Excited for your big trip! As a Kiwi who lives in Auckland I definitely suggest finding a hotel in the Viaduct or Britomart. Close to where you will embark/disembark the ship but also near the best restaurants etc. Some great options are Britomart Hotel, M Social and QT Hotel X

Hi Brogan! I live in NZ … I’m not totally sure about hotels in Akld but I did spend a fantastic 12 days at the Cordis in Akld … they have a lovely outdoor pool area and spa facility for massages etc. Not the cheapest. Funnily enough I spent my time there while my husband had open heart surgery for a mitral valve repair in an Akld hospital .. which .. a bit like Benji, came upon us quite unexpectedly - I wasn’t allowed to visit him as it was during a Covid lockdown!! It was a real journey so I definitely have some understanding of what you guys have been dealing with 🥰 I think you go to Tauranga on your cruise ship .. which means Mt Maunganui is where you dock. I’m wondering if you have booked Hobbiton as a shore excursion!? Definitely recommend!!! Awesome experience though I am sure there will be excursions to hot pools etc which will be great too. Mt Maunganui is an awesome, beachy little place with great shops … don’t feel the need to travel into Tauranga city though (in my opinion). My daughter and i traveled to Disneyland California in Jan of this year and who did we bump into .. Gary and Adam… I felt like a groupy 😂😂 but got such a shock and nice surprise to see them!! All the best with everything!! Think you and Benj are awesome x

Hi Brogan, great news re:benjis recovery and wedding particularly! Went to aukland 3 yrs ago, highly recommend 'wai o tapu(maori village, hot springs and nearby Roturoa)! 'Bay of islands 'trip amazing scenery , volcanos, dolphins snorkeling amazing! And waiheke island(boat trip from Auckland harbour,) wine tasting tour, again amazing scenery and wine tasing in 4 vineyards worth the trips ! I loved planning ours just wish it wasn’t over so quickly lol I struggle with clothes and style I need a wardrobe haul 😅 people can be very judgemental with anything I’ve got a few work colleagues who make comments when I book a holiday and then it makes me feel like I shouldn’t be having holidays when others can’t afford one or I shouldn’t speak about it…. love having a catch up ❤ xx

Loving the catch-ups. I’m sat with my arm in a sling as I’ve fractured my humerus bone whilst away in London on a girlie few days away. Maybe having surgery, fracture was caused by my cancer. Anyway watching you and your everyday vlogs cheers me up. Xx
