Brogan, worked 2 cruise seasons. To save on laundry bills pop your outfit onto a hangar and pop in the bathroom with the shower on. The steam will knock out creases and are perfect for formal outfits. Loved the vlog xxx

We cruise and magnetic hooks are a gamer changer. Your not allowed to hang things outside but great for in bathroom. The pop laundry baskets are fab. Straws are essential,dabblers,sewing kits, umbrellas and and highlighters, giant pegs for sun beds,sandwich bags are absolutely indispensable….cutlery we take too. I’m allergic to plastic so no bottles,cutlery,straws,or anything! My husband is pillow crazy…he moans so much without his pillow…we carry it on..we cruise from Southampton. Extension blocks should be non surge… Playing cards are a must and notepads/ postit notes. 👍🇬🇧

OMG - just discovered this. We are doing the exact same trip next year 😌 Embarking Auckland on 14th Feb 2025 for the sail back to Southampton. And we have a week in Auckland beforehand. You are not crazy for packing your pillow! My mom and I both always pack our pillow for every trip even when it’s just a week 😂 there just comes a time where making sure you get the best sleep is important, especially if you’re going to be exploring as much as you will on your cruise. Wishing you all the best on your trip. I’ve been to Hong Kong Disney and don’t recall about the pin trading but it is such a beautiful park .

You need to look at Dock and Bay beach towels. We bought them for our honeymoon and they pack so tiny and dry so quickly! Plus the XL ones actually cover the whole length of a sunbed!

We have them, but I find I don't DRY very quickly with them!! I don't like rubbing my body with them lol - still pack them for certain things, they are great for the beach as the sand doesn't stick!

Very interesting and informative as we are thinking of doing a similar trip. I am also an overpacker and would definately have sent two cases on board. My packing mantra is that I would sooner pack something and not need it than not pack something which I later find that I do need. We also pack games, playing cards and dominos. Looking forward to the next episode xx

Hi Brogan, love your packing videos, it was one that brought me to your channel actually. So you dropped your case off at Southampton when aurora was leaving? And when you embark in NZ will that case be waiting for you in your cabin? Or will you have to request it from reception once onboard. Never thought of joining a world cruise from a foreign port. I used to travel with my pillow whenever I went on holiday (Until my luggage went missing on a flight - now it stays safely at home 😉). My brother is 50 and still travels with his own pillow everywhere too. A Good nights sleep is worth it!

Big fan of vacuum bags! and I have been vacuum my pillow ALL THE TIME!🤣🤣 I haven't found another pillow the same job for me and it's life saving! Make sure you sit on it when you vacuum to suck out all the air x
