I lost a close friend I considered more family than just a friend a while ago to depression. I watched him be consumed more and more each and every day and when he finally told his family they passed it off as nothing but a cry for attention and told him to grow up. We were too young and didn’t know about professional help and a few years back he took his own life. I wish this was taken more seriously but I’m so thankful for people like you guys making people aware that this is all very very real. This shit needs to be fought and we need to help anyone suffering to overcome their demons #fuckdepression
