Hi Ginger. What is interesting is that different hobby lobby stores have different things on sale. I went to 2 stores. I had yarn with me from 1 store not on sale in other store.Very interesting

Last year I went to 2 different hobby lobby location with the same thing. I asked why their turquoise sugar wheel wasn't on clearance. She looked it up and said, oh we missed that one and marked the 4 cakes down for me. Doesn't hurt to ask

Also sometimes a yarn sells better in different places so they wont clearance them.

Apparently, we live near the Hobby Lobby with zero yarn of other brands. I got some pretty baby yarns, or light weight baby blanket. We only have 2 aisles. I did snag a $1.99 Yarn Queen mug and a travel mug that says in quite small writing, I make pretty things, with a bee & garden flowers in an oval for $3.49. And a nice project bag, with grommets on top for $1.74. We have no big name brand, only Yarn Bee. Oh well.

It's not going on at my Hobby Lobby, although my HL is going through what looks to be a major transformation... totally changing the store around, shelves are empty and things are just crazy.

I live in Texas I went to Hobby Lobby they did not know anything about year end sale. What state are you in. Maybe each state does different month or time of the year. Please let me know

Ginger you have me drooling I wanted to just jump in my phone and grab some of the yarn. Every bodies video's are all on Hobby Lobby, but alas we don't have HL in Canada. But it's so nice to look at. How could you go there with no money? I would be pulling my hair out. I hope some of the things you wanted are still there when you go back. Happy crocheting.

We seem to have much less craft items in our HLs. They are not supporting crafters any longer that I can really see. Mostly home goods, pictures, kitchenware, food, bird houses, mostly already made decor, lots of waffle irons. Not much hobby stuff.

I have to drive an hour one way or an hour and a half the other direction to get to a HL. Nothing advertised and it’s just too far to drive, without knowing if they have anything on clearance 😢

They have a HUGE new plan-o-gram coming out, and allegedly they are clearancing out items that have not sold well so that they do not have to move them. The new plan-o-gram will be moving the items around the store IAW the new management of HL. I am excited to see new product lines!

So for those who are curious the reason they are doing it now instead of later is that they are revamping the stores to carry more home goods, home items, etc. They actually are clearing a lot of stuff as time goes on. I went to my hobby lobby yesterday and they already had two aisles blocked off to change them out. I am hoping they don't completely drop their yarn because I really love, the I Love this Yarn it's so affordable and soft.

I won't shop at hobby lobby they have disappointed me for the last time! They claim to be Christian. My friend worked they and was bullied by an other employee . And a manager. Eventuality it led to her quitting! Nothing happened to the other employee except that hobby lobby promoted her! After she harrassed my friend! And the only thing my friend did was , she was born in a different country and when this other employee found out she treated my friend like a well, it was worse then dirt!
