Hey, I am 64, turning 65, and have been married for almost 42 years. We are planning our 42nd wedding anniversary this month. As a rule, we stay in luxury hotels with double beds. I know the phobia you speak of well, whereas my husband is a bit more 'chilled.' It is people who clean those rooms, and everybody doesn't clean the way I do! My 'cleaning supply bag' is a necessary part of the luggage. My husband goes into the room and first checks the bathroom for hair. Hair completely grosses me out! If it's good, I am ready to clean.:) Next, I clean and sanitize the room. After I am satisfied, I DON'T let housekeeping come for the duration of our stay. They may use the same cleaning towel for all surfaces-YUCK! Thank you for your video, and hopefully, this will educate others on how the adage 'happy wife...happy life' is a thing. Oh, and maybe they will take some sanitary tips as well!

I also have phobias. My husband doesn’t understand all of them, but he supports me. While my husband and I spend most of our time together, we also have our separate spaces. I’m so grateful for my separate bathroom and closet:). I’m especially particular about public restrooms, hotels, and restaurants. Like you, we don’t wear outside clothes around the house.
