A little trick I learned about my 579 I drive is as you pull the door handle out, you can push the door lock down. That way you don’t have to use the key all the time.

Need to make you up a couple of dummy block off plugs . Next time you can just disconnect the brake hose and plug off the line until you can make the proper repair. Great roadside fix Martin .

Gotta love the Beltway around Madison. I go down 151 every Monday from home to Iowa and nearly always some kind of fender bender on the Beltway. They haven t a clue how to merge on and off the exits See you stopped at the KT Mount Horeb for Fuel. Bet your spread axle just loved that silly little roundabout on the way in 😂

A little less conspicuous way that i do it is i put a dime in the fitting and just back the slack adjuster off. Unless the DOT man is measuring the movement of the slack adjuster. Also you're allowed to have 20% of your brakes out of adjustment so you can technically have 2 corners out on that setup.

Didn’t have a dime. I’ve had them adjust back up to spec and drag since they’re autos. Didn’t wanna deal with that.

Snap On makes a gas tank strap socket that works great on the caging bolts. Socket is long and grabs the nut with plenty of room for the threated rod shaft to be inside the socket/no bottoming out.

Never. They no longer have a filter, it’s just a check valve deal. They did away with the actual filter back in 2011-12 because it kept plugging.

as long as your pulling a trailer that is legal, the clamp you pointed too is not the dangerous one, you have a crimped chamber on the dangerous end, piggyback all of them, the rest will follow soon with failure, just like the rotten rubber on the air bags.

My heart sank as I watched Martin pull away and Alice was left standing there. Of course Martin was watching Alice disappear in the rear view mirror. That is sometimes the time that sucks or one or both glad to get a break from each other. There is benefits when there are times when your apart. Do you guys not buy those prepared meals any more. I hear your eating a lot of quick trip prepared food. Most guys would have been in a pickle with that one brake pot blowing out, but not Martin. The quick fix costed ya nothing just a bit of your time. It’s the little things sometimes cost the most. Plus a late delivery and fuel to keep the temp down in the reefer. One of the reason why Trucking Together is so successful, you keep your money in your pocket. If you blow it all away just to truck, what’s the point. Anywho guys, great video.
