So sorry to hear this Abdul. Wishing you a speedy recovery with the car. It's a good thing it wasn't as bad as you thought it will.

Good time to get: the head ported Comp valve springs and buckets +1.25 valves matched to the seat. So you can bounce the boost off the limiter in safety.

This is a fully built and ported head with all the goodies.

I’m about to rebuild my own motor on my Speed6. What head gasket are you using, and does it require you to have the block machine for that gasket?

Hey i am working on doing a 2.5l mzr port head and AEM swap on my ms6 this year. It would be a lot easier to bring everything into one ecu and set of injectors. I have talked with AEM and confirmed that we can keep the VVT and the AEM can control the rear diff solenoid. There are a ton of cams and upgrades because the Miata guys are swapping the hole motors into their cars.

The thing is, what caused it? I had intake valves melt twice in # 2 on a rich tune and built bottom end. I still have to take the motor apart..... again to find out why. Running a JDM motor right now.

love the content brutha...what type of aux fuel are you running and why?...im currently building my speed3 and going with port injection and im torn between doing a larger in-tank pump to run the port injection and stock di or a stand alone fuel system for the pi...i currently have a gtx3076 turbo...what are your thoughts?

How many miles did you get out of it before the valve dropped? I'm on stock valvetrain with no porting at 28psi so mines due aswell I guess 😅
@radalj4533 Жыл бұрын
Any idea what caused the valve to get stuck in the first place bro?
@inixratedini3 жыл бұрын
Damn bro :-( what would cause this to happen I remember you had a upgraded head. To much high rpm ?

I have a speed 6 and Tuesday morning I started up like normal and it weirdly shut off. and that mooring felt sluggish and I was worried it was going to break down. but I thought it was just because its cold. On the highway it made a thump and rps went to 0 and engine stated whirring pulled over and wouldn't start. throw up code cylinder 4 misfire and thought is was injector, sparkplug. took it home on a trailer and there was no oil. I had a oil leak and figured out that there is a hole in the block. I was told that by ProTech. Im screwed

I'm fixing the exact same issue, one bent valve with a loved tapped piston. A little to much rpm on the stock valve train.
