Where you camped isn’t a “camp” site. It’s the access to the waterhole for that camp. If it was summer you would have 30 people in the water hole.

Keep doing what your doing, your channel is growing and it keeps getting better in my opinion, if there’s anything I’d like to see you do, is a longer trip (Simpson desert) but I know you can’t at this stage, maybe in the future, everything you’ve done has been excellent 💁🏼♂️🥇 👏🏻!

Go Deb. She sent it up that first hill. One tip is you need to spray your seatbelts with silicone spray. It makes them retract like new again. My Prado was the same. Pull the seatbelt all the way out and spray both sides. Then wipe off with a rag. What a spot you scored.

I wouldn't change the hubs to a stronger style like the superior outers. This is mainly because the hubs are your fusible/weak point so you don't go breaking CVs that are more expensive and time consuming to fix.
@AndyViant2 жыл бұрын
Gotta have the hubs JUST weaker than the CV's. You really need to engineer stuff so that things break in order of cost. For common 4wd's it should be well known and aftermarket parts should be engineered in just such a way. Pity it isn't. I guess there's that incentive for expensive stuff to break to sell you new, stronger expensive bits.
@pauldavies46502 жыл бұрын
Great content mate. The chilled and random family 4wd/camping vibe is pretty much what you've always been about. Its how most of us do it. So highly relatable especially to my family, and great to see Demi getting amongst it. #Livingthedream

Great spot mate and great clip. We love state forests over National Parks. Great you can collect firewood for using in there and can take your four legged furry mate 🦮 as far as motorbikes go though, just remember that it’s still a public use area so any / all vehicles, including motorbikes MUST be registered and drivers / riders licenced. Let’s all do our part and do the right thing to help keep beautiful spots like this open for all of us to enjoy 👍👍👍

Mates and I went to barrington tops for the first time ever over the June long weekend. Can honestly say I was slightly disappointed as all the tracks were closed and we were forced into a communal camp ground. I couldn't believe they shut all the tracks and I didn't even think to look into it as I assumed tracks never shut. Teenagers had a bush doof going on as they brought party lights and massive speakers so they destroyed the ambiance of being in the bush. We will definitely be going up there after October.
@noobishly662 жыл бұрын
We did find one track we thought was open, got about 40 min into the track before finding a massive tree blocking with no way around it. We then proceeded to take 3 hours trying to get out as there was a lot of winching required to get back out.

Yet another great video thanks guys. I love seeing all you videos regardless of touring or hard core content. Which campsite were you at? I've only camped at Frying Pan Creek, which was great but became chock full by Saturday afternoon. We found quite a few trails which were very overgrown and opted out so we didn't completely scratch the crop out of the car. We should organise a track clearing weekend where groups of people take tools and go along opening up some of these overgrown trails. Keep up the great work

It's painful in a funny way, watching Demi chop wood.🤣 Good of her to volunteer. I recommend you get a short length (approx up to 500mm) of a small diameter PVC pipe to use for blowing the fire pit. That way you don't have to have your face that close to an open fire. Just for extra safety. That salmon rice dish looked delish. I might try it at home.👍
