Ah! It's refreshing to see open-minded metalheads! ☺️ BBTS is one of my favorite alternative idol groups and the Zombie Band is amazing! They're all also such nice and humble people. Nice reaction!! #KaguraArmy

A wonderful reaction from two truly open minded metal heads. Thumbs up and thanks for this. Yes Broken by the scream is a wonderful group and like Passcode, another Idol-Group with a fantastic sctramer (Yuna) I would like to give it a try, - try "Trace" live kzbin.info/www/bejne/baiZhIGfqNpoq8k - a very fine example that many of the most interesting Bands and Groups are coming from Japan these days. And Broken by the Scream - like Passcode - are live a near life experience. Saw them both live in Tokyo and they blew me out of my socks. It felt like pumping in a Gym for three hours. Completely exhausted and amazed in a very satifying way. And at this point I would like to recommend you to check out one of the best and most energetic Hard Rock Band since decades: "Band-Maid" from Japan. Five young ladies who will blow your mind with top notch musicianship, stage presence, energy and absolute adorable personalities. Their newest live Video from 2020 would be a good starter "Domination" kzbin.info/www/bejne/h5PcgnaAo5ulj8k Keep on rockin' guys and keep your realy enjoyable attitude of openness of mind alive!

I'm pretty sure you'd enjoy Passcode a lot too. There's also "Fear, and loathing in Las Vegas", "Rottengraffty", "Band-Maid" (ok, not metal, but damn good rock, "Play" and "Dice" are my favorites), "Not Secured, Loose Ends", some songs of "Zenbu kimi no seida" (I recommend the live version of World End Crisis), Candye♡Syrup (not sure if still active, but great, weird stuff), Deadlift Lolita (really weird but super fun stuff), Ladybaby from back in the day (when it was Rie, Rei and Ladybeard, try "Renge Chance", "Nippon Manju" or "Age Age Money") and the list could go on forever. You stepped into a world of a lot of interesting good music. Stay and enjoy it!

very good reaction BBTS is a great band that describes itself as an idol group of screaming metal a great band with death metal overtones in their songs has a great backing band with a very fast drummer on the pedal and a great guitarist I recommend reacting to Koi ha otome no nakidokoro or Sayonara birthday I recommend them good songs that you will surely like I recommend you see the studio version since they have better audio quality.

This was my exact reaction, confusion but I adored it. The growler frequently checks out reaction videos as well. Hi Nozuki-san.

They are an idol group, the 'band' as it were are just hired musicians to play the backing tracks, they have producer that writes and composes the songs alot like babymetal. Only difference is these girls (well two atleast) actively listen to and enjoy metal I guess, points if you can guess which two.
@latenightramen894 жыл бұрын
The ladies are also like in their early twenties so no school girls here thankfully. There is actually a whole scene of this kind of stuff going on in Japan in the tiny underground live houses and yes it's as fun as it sounds to enjoy live!
@manfredsax47914 жыл бұрын
Actually, it is the other way around. The band put up an audition for 'metal screaming idols' to cover the singing part. These girls took part in the audition and were hired by the band. The producer and composer is the guitarist エレクトロソナー (electro sonar). The lyrics are created by 大久保英紀 (hideking).
@latenightramen894 жыл бұрын
@@manfredsax4791 being hired by a producer to join an idol group project is different to being scouted to join a band, bbts is not a band, I've seen them live multiple times and they've only ever had the backing band for larger special occasions, most of the time it's just the backing track and the girls, the backing band is also just called 'the zombie band' and they make it clear bbts is the 4 girls not the dudes playing the instruments, they are never named as group members or such. I know idol might be a hard concept to swallow but this isn't that crazy, plenty of talented dudes from various other japanese bands audition and produce their own idol group's too, these idol groups don't just magically become a band because one of the producers is in a band or gets someone to play live instrumentation for them occasionally.
@manfredsax47914 жыл бұрын
@@latenightramen89 I'm familiar with idol concept and idol groups, I listen to a few of them myself (Sakura Gakuin, Ladybaby). As an example I would like to compare this to Nightwish. There, the producer, composer and lyric creator is Tuomas, the keyboarder. If for some reason Nightwish/Tuomas would decide that only the hired singer (Floor) should be on stage during a concert then it would be exactly the same situation as with BBTS. I agree that the musicians are not mentioned on albums because they want to put all the spotlights on the girls. Why they decided to do so I don't know. Maybe they are too busy with their other projects so they knew in advance that they would not make it to every concert they are planning, maybe they thought that they would be more successful this way than doing the standard band thing. But the point is, the Zombie Band started as a band and then decided to hire metal idols to stand in the spotlight for them. If this changes them from a band to an idol group, then Nightwish would also become an idol group if they decided to only put Floor on stage during some of their concerts. If I would have to define BBTS, I would say that they are an idol fronted metal band.
@latenightramen894 жыл бұрын
@@manfredsax4791 it's really not the same thing, they are marketed as idols and self label themselves as such, the members of the group are the 4 girls, mentioning anyone else is superfluous information because fans understand it's an idol group. They know there will be a writing team or producers in the shadows, whether or not these producers occasionally take to the stage to perform the instrumentation live doesn't change what the group is. A lot of people treat idol like some taboo word or like it cheapens the group's legitimacy, it doesn't, it just describes how the group dynamic works and how the group conducts it's self business wise. There are plenty of other idol group's doing similar in Japan who occasionally use live instrumentation at certain shows (sometimes with their producers playing one of said instruments) they are not suddenly a band because of this.

My man is wearing a Black Dahlia hat. I haven't watched yet but I'm going to assume he's going to love this shit. BBTS is like TBDM and BABYMETAL had a love child with a severe case of bipolar disorder. I was absolutely floored the first time I heard this shit.

You know. These bands do something different to Babymetal and something that I really like. When I listen to Babymetal I feel that sometimes the "mix" between J-pop and Metal is way too forced to sound "weird" so, in my case, I was a huge fan of Babymetal and I saw them live twice already (I traveled from latin america to US just to see them) but at some point I just got tired because the style sometimes is hard to digest. But some other bands (Like BBTS) try to do instead for example, a Deathcore group with an idol format, and even if they keep a little bit of japanese style, they're mostly deathcore. (Of course they're not The Black Dahlia Murder or Carnifex but still). And also, just to mention... Passcode is kind of a Post Hardcore /Metalcore group with an idol format or Necronomidol is a Black Metal group with idol format. And sometimes even if they're japanese and sound like japanese music, they don't even try to be Kawaii or Cute.

@@Rex13filp Hi! greetings from Costa Rica! I'm not really a matter expert but I've found some interesting artists out there... the bands mentioned before Necronomidol (kinda black metal idol), 14th Generation Toilet Hanako-san (Really old school hardcore/violence/metal-ish sounding stuff is crazy and you can find it on Spotify), Malcolm Mask McLaren (Easycore /Kinda happy punk with breakdowns), Sora Tob Sakana (instrumental is very math rock inspired), Maison Book Girl (Also kind of indie/progressive is not metal but the instrumental is kinda good) and I don't know... is really difficult to find something with the same quality as BBTS! and when you watch a couple of those groups, youtube starts recommending you some others haha.
