It seems amazing how much trouble there is with the draw even with two acrobatics+, backflip, escape plan, finesse, impatience, dagger throw and prepared. Hands constantly get bricked. Edit: before that amazing Dream Catcher came along.

with alchemize, he didn't want to get stuck with a single potion slot.

Fairy is a good ass potion, but its best used to take an extremely aggressive/greedy path and vastly improve your odds of survival. In a straight fight it can be cumbersome and provide less overall value than, say, a power or dex pot that boost you enough that you don't even die in the first place.

+10 strength or dex in a fight lets you save loads more hp than what a fairy in a bottle can do.

Had a run similar to this that died to gaint head due to lack of damage, got white beast statue, potion belt and alchemize act 1 then sacred bark as the boss relic

1:12:07 can someone explain why he didn't discard the tactician here? he could've blocked more or done some damage. was this a misplay or is there a good reason he chose not to discard it.

The only reason I can think of was that he considered retaining it while choosing what to discard. Since he didn't retain it, there was no reason not to discard it indeed.

I never really liked how relics disappear once they're seen in the shop. It'd be cool if the shopkeeper gave you a one time option to loan you a random relic you've seen in the past shops, but you have to pay him back with interest each time you see him. If you go to 3 shops without paying, then you're banned from using shops. It's a huge risk and reward, because sometimes going to a ? floor, or misuing your gold could mean losing your shop priveleges entirely.

Do you post your run if you lose? I'd love to see what decisions someone at your level would have to make to lose (though, I do notice that you scrape by by the seat of your pants on several occasions)
