Broken Dorm Elevator Ep. 1

On Thursday, September 9, someone propped the elevator door open on the fourth floor which broke the elevator. The elevator was repaired Monday, September 13. This was the third time the elevator was broken since I moved in.

Well since the swing door was closed, I would say the fire alarm in the building was tripped, which caused the elevator to go into phase 1 of fire service where it returns to a specific floor and opens. That would also explain why the swing door was closed. They probably have to reset the fire service every time this happens. Just my guess though.
