But we're talking about Florida and I believe Florida has a Romeo and Juliet law which means that young people can have a 4-5 year age difference between each other and it's legal or normal... For the whole Romeo and Juliet law it varies state by law, I live in Indiana where the age of consent is 16, yet the Romeo and Juliet law allows someone who is 15 to have a relationship with someone who is no more than four years older. Which doesn't make sense because you can wait until 16 to be legally allowed to have consensual sex with someone. The Romeo and Juliet is basically so if your 17 and you have sex with a 14 year old in the past that would be considered statutory rape but their was a lot of young men getting in trouble for doing that and the law decided that having a Romeo and Juliet law would help with that

And I'm not going to necessarily talk about so-called morals because those can shift from person to person or culture to culture... I’m wondering how Judge Star missed the DV relationship dynamics. First, they met when he was 17 and she was 12, but they were “hanging out.” Then when they “got together” she was 17 and he was 22. He has always seen her as a child. Judge star is just for entertainment purposes. She is part of the "social media" Era, where people don't actually have sound advice to give, but just catchy quotes for views. Her "advice" is so general to every couple. Coming from being a huge judge, Lynn toyler fan, I miss the wisdom that this show use to give.
