Pity that you didn't go into the actual history more. Also hard to get old Broken Hill records from 100 years ago. Need to make the historical records more available to the public for free.

Is there a family history group in Broken Hill? I'll be visiting for 1 month from 12 December 2023.

Go to the history centre, located downstairs at the Railway station, they have the best records and the ladies are very knowledgeable. Highly recommend asking for Jenny Camille. Save a few days for a good dig around. I was born there, love to visit every chance I get. 😅

@@sandramaiden4707thank you. Sadly, the FHG won't be open whilst I'm there 12/12- 15/1 but I'll visit the library & the cemetery's ~45,000 burials.
