gosh, this is one of my favorite songs of the year. and ahh, I just love annie's stage presence during it. really fitting with the lyrics. just kinda involuntary movements. impulsive jumps. it looks manic after the drumroll, and that's how it's supposed to be! thanks for uploading. I was supposed to see her in brooklyn tomorrow, but now i'm not able to go. can only imagine how great of a show it is!

Don’t anybody get confused. A real musician who can play guitar and write her own songs. Beautiful.

More originality and talent out of a singer/composer/guitarist than we've seen in 20 years! This is how Rock should look in the 21st Century.

Jason Falkner on guitar, I think Rachel Eckroth plays the synthesizer and Mark Guiliana on drums. I think it is Charlotte Kemp Muhl on bass not Paz Lenchantin (although I maybe wrong).

It's part of the album vibe (didn't you hear the chorus "What're you looking at?"). Also her on-stage panties are almost outer-wear, she has multi-layer gussets as she does a lot of crowd surfing... (I know a girl who crowd-surfed once, and only once. She said she's surprised she didn't get a yeast infection.)

Something is not right here. An artist may evolve from charming self-consciousness to ironic self-parody. But what exactly is this performance? I see nothing charming, nothing ironic, nothing poignant, nor even anything particularly honest. The lyrics seem to be mashup of vaguely religious imagery and who knows what.

Whatever happened it was after leaving her old producer John Congleton & not positive. She went with Jack Antonoff & the world doesn't need another Taylor Swift. This isn't an example of that, but sort of an acting out: cathartic release of contrarian realization? She WAS being ironic in "Cruel" writing, "Can't you see what everybody wants from you? If you could want that too, then you'll be happy."
