This was so under-rated at the time it came out, it's so much better than I remember.

The first 30 seconds of this show has about 5 jokes already, but they are delivered so seriously and solemnly that they're so easily missed and demands the listener pay attention to get maximum enjoyment out of this show. "It's thought the disease could cause millions of deaths worldwide if enough people caught it. Our Illness Correspondent Ben Green has been looking at what we might know so far". It's so close to the real thing, but just off-kilter enough that it makes the cognitive dissonance of these news reports so utterly delicious!

With CoronaVirus, this is more astute than ever, on the media panic. Broken News was nicely observed humour, with a wide range of characters. Not as cutting as The Day Today, nor as hardcore as BrassEye, but still very nicely done. Love Look Out East.
