This video's great! Klyntar has been my highest performing map as Peni by a pretty good margin, but the last zone on defense is a killer. Glad to see it's not 100% just me being blind to the good spots. I also really like the showcasing of enemy sightlines to the nest, very nice to see.

Imo its the second point that when crossed it's over. The first point is relatively easy to dominate as long as you keep killing enemy teams one by one as they push.

In the first defense. My favorite spot is the right room on top of the barrel. It allows me to cover the healthpack and main corridor

If you can get a teamwipe you can hold them at spawn to the right of the main door, covers the spawn room exit and main. seems to work pretty decently, and can escape through the cave behind you

I dont think a lot of people know about the web zip nest combo but i usually make it to the front of the map when defending before everyone else in my team. It makes peni extremely fast

It's just a hard mode for Peni in general. Arriving to the point at the same time as the other team means she can't properly set up on it for first fight.

There is a spot I've had surprising success with on Stage 3 Defense as Peni on this map, but it does require you and your team to commit to a very forward hold. From the defender's side, there's a nook just to the right of the big ramp the Convoy goes down right after Stage 2. Place a nest there and, with some web extensions, it covers the entire main ramp and the side-entrance closest to the enemy spawn, while being super hard to dislodge. The only uncovered route is through the same little room the defenders typically have to rollout through on Stage 2. This route sucks to push through since it's really narrow, it's much further away from spawn than the two covered exits, it's only really accessible by walking past the big exposed ramp sightline, and once they get there it doesn't even give that great of an angle on the nest.

I’ve actually been using every stage 2 placement lol. I was waiting for this video in hopes of learning better locations. Sadly this map is just weak for nests. All those spots have at least one easy angle for the enemy to attack them from.

Can you do Domination maps? I struggle to do much with peni on domination maps. The other team instantly shoots out my nests, or the stupid moving parts of the some maps destroy my nests too.

Wakanda science lab is probably the best domination stage for Peni. Shoot out the central pillar and set up nest behind the walls that spawn. Enemy team has to go around the wall to push onto point and it's easy to booby trap both sides.

To the right of the final door on attack for the second stage. It blocks off the right side, and is hidden, lets your team stay on point for the last push, you watch left, and when the door opens, you have a bit of cover. Seen the cart stall right at the end too much there. Edit: Tend to do this when supports are getting dived a lot.

Do you find more success using the webshots to expand or using it to trap enemies? I'd like to keep the webs on the floor but I feel that trapping enemies helps my team better.

@joeycross9904 I am more conservative with my CC web if I have a good setup, or I know the enemy team have ults I can cancel. I'll still use it if I'm confident I can make the shot, or to cancel an ult etc. But yeah I don't spam the CC.

5:20 Ive used a spot thats just left if this placement by the larger section of the tree. You can place webs and mines on the inner section of the tree between the gap. Cloak and dagger like to ult into your web where they die from mines + spiders. Has happened to me twice. Though im a mere golden Peni so maybe this is actually a terrible spot.

This map is easily the worst in the game. Not in terms of nest spots. It's just an extremely unenjoyable map. If you don't hold off the first zone it's pretty much a guaranteed win for the attackers.

This is my least favourite out of the push type maps but the hydra base is by far the worst map in the game for me. I havent had a single good game on that map

@@Brandon.Brown9947 I agree but I'd edge Klyntar because it's the entire map, Frozen Airfield and Eldritch Monument are fine but the Super-Soldier Factory part of the hydra base is absolutely awful.

Not really. You group up and defend the corner after the first point then do the same on the corner after that. You have high ground on both those. The problem is most likely you not grouping up

Once again I love and HATE your videos. So much good information, but it makes beating enemy peni's that much harder. With that being said do you ever feel like setting up slightly closer to start so the enemy team isn't able to get as close to point starting

It can work setting up closer, but I just feel much more comfortable fighting in the "default" spots. Any further up and I feel like the defending team loses the advantage in positioning when it comes to the fight.
