Nicholas Same here. I remember harvest in the fifties when my grandmother and mother put extra leaves in the table and cooked a big meal at noon for dinner. Also Sunday dinner at midday. Supper was always in the evening.

Same here as well, lunch is only when you had a small dinner. Like just a ham sammich. If it's big it's a dinner and of course supper is at night.

We had a rock picker just like yours. You can pick a big boulder like that with a Degelman if you are patient and careful. Go out there with a loader and dig down a bit on one side. Then drive the picker up with the reels as high as you can put them and the grate as far down. Then push with the loader and drive the picker tractor ahead. If you get half the boulder on the grate, you've got it. Use a big ratchet strap to hold the rock on the grate while you drive. There is no way I'd farm around that thing year after year. It would drive me nuts. The other way to move that boulder is to buy a 4x10 sheet of steel, maybe 1/2". Push the sheet under the rock with the loader. Pull it away.

So I want to leave some feedback for you Zac on why I think your channel is booming so much. One your quirky sense of humor is awesome and the pan face on the joke cracks are awesome. Two your beautiful kids that you show so much love to and enjoy as a part of the great family experience with a very patient wife. Three for me is you dont cuSS..no God this Jesus that F this those guys suck im better bleh bleh crap. I think you show a very postive and professional demeanor in what you do. The teamwork beween you and your dad and other employees is pretty consistent. So keep up the POSTIVE stuff world needs more of it. Also a big thing for me is something goes wrong you dont just implode with massive negatives emotions. You go out like the bar in the header and FIX it. Figure it out and then hey get on with it. I predict in text you will be at 250k Subscribers within 6 months and probably close to 500k in another year. Keep up the great work and God bless you all.

Wow, things have changed a lot in the last 100+ years! .. I am 72 years old and have grandchildren, some are in the single digits. .. My grandfathers were involved in farming in South Dakota. .. My father's father was a farmer in Colman, SD .. My mother's father repaired farm equipment in Mt. Vernon, SD. .. Amusing tidbit: They were 100 miles apart, but didn't meet until they were adults in California. They met at an amusement park, the Pike. They hit it off and were ready to get married the next day. They waited 4 days to coincide with my mother's parents wedding anniversary. My parents married December 1, 1945. .. My mother's maiden name was Boisen. The 4 Boisen brothers did the farm implement and auto repair. .. Farming has remained much the same, but it has advanced so much with technology.

Just a comment on the anger LED light. Because LED lights don't draw as much current the relay that controls it doesn't recognize enough amperage draw. Try mounting a small yellow or red incandescent light out there with your LED to create the extra draw. I had a similar experience with my semi and that seemed to cure the problem. Great job and keep the videos comeing.

im gonna give u a tip on sickle cutters. its not sharp sections that are whats important (obviously u need good sharp sections tho) what matters are the guards. as guards wear and the gap the sections go thru begin to grow your cutting ability will go down. always keep yer section to guard tolerances tight.

Very interesting video's your in the same predicament as we are here in Kansas fall crops not drying down we had 7 inches of rain two weeks ago fields are muddy had around 1000 acres of winter wheat already planted and looks like 400 acres may need to be replanted waiting for ground conditions to improve to harvest beans so we can go back to wheat on took a test cut On milo yesterday was running 18 % hoping for continued dry conditions to get going again

I can't believe how short your days are. I'd check the clearance under the header auger as to why the beans stop feeding when it gets a bit tough. Can you adjust the feeder chain height or how far forward it goes ? A straight cut header with a draper belt would feed them until you couldn't get them through the feeder housing. When picking up cereal crops with a draper header you can feed it until the cylinder plugs.
