Broken wire in a door harness and full rebuild

I have to do this to my equinox because the car sometimes doesn't know the door opens, so the radio doesn't shut off when the ignition is off. I can see it has been poorly done once before. It's just summer in AZ and I dread wanting to go outside to pull my door panel off.

I drive a 2010 Ford escape xlt v6. The sun roof leaked and now the left blinker doesn't shut off unless I put it in the right signal position. I have no right blinker. Both the lights work when the hazards are on. It's not the multi switch. The fog lights are like a strobe light unless I turn them on. The automatic car starter stopped working. The dealership is too expensive and I'm trying to figure it out myself. Ford also makes it hard to find any information when trying to fix something yourself. I think there is a wire burned out somewhere. I can't wait until it's fixed...

@rizeye0014 sounds like your body control model may have water damaged. Give us a call with your full VIN number, and we can tell you where it is located so you can pull it and inspect it for water. It's located behind the dash or kick panel. 954 513-8359, either way we can help.
