I hope you find some enjoyment therein and thanks as always from the bottom of my beard for watching… If you’re back here for the next episode on Sunday, I’ll throw my hat over a windmill (apparently a Texan phrase for celebration). ‘Til then, stay insatiable! *This series was filmed between April 17th and May 8th.

As others have commented, jam is perfectly normal on biscuits. Butter, honey, jams or jelly’s, etc. my favorite though is sausage gravy, or as you’ve described it before as a peppery bechamel. It basically is a bechamel but usually made using the fat from cooking the sausage and then adding pepper and crumbled sausage in. At least that’s how I make it. Lol

Biscuits with butter and jam are definitely the norm in the South of the US. A lot of people eat a dish called biscuits with gravy. It’s open-faced biscuits slathered with a white peppered gravy with crumbled sausage. I love it with a side of grits and scrambled eggs. You get bonus points if you spoon a bit of the sausage gravy on top of the grits.🤤

A 12-egg omelet is brutal! I make mine with 3 eggs and that's fairly solid.
@UltimateGamerCC2 жыл бұрын
yup, 3 eggs make a decent Om, 12 makes a titanic Om, especially with the carbs and filling that comes with.

@@UltimateGamerCC ah yes, but if it were easy, it wouldn't be beardworthy.

the fear of you doing a biscuit wrong is so goddamn funny. 0.0% of americans would judge that

I'm from the Southern US and we put jam/jelly on biscuits all the time.

You really do have fun eating and filming. Mrs. and I love your channel, health to you and Mrs. Beard.

Damn dude. You can pack it away. I love a hearty meal, and can inhale some calories. But oof, Not sure I could pack all that away in 22 minutes... I bet its the epic beard you've got going on. He helps take the edge off the calorie overload!

It`s not often I see a Beard challenge that I could finish but I`d fancy my chances with this one within the hour.

I'd have to be starved for a day, go through a whole night of boozing with no sausage rolls and wake up with diabetic hunger to have any kind of chance at completing this. I'd still probably fail though. Great vid Adam💪

Butter & jam or jelly are totally acceptable on biscuits here in Texas. Thats the first time I've heard you mention ketchup. I've ofter wondered if ketchup might help you get the fries or chips down easier. I live in Texas & totally love your channel.

I'm so sad to find out this was filmed a month ago, I am a chef living in Texas and would have love to have made some custom food for you to get a nice southern home cooked meal.

Pretty normal here in the states to put all manner of sweet or savory toppings on biscuits. Jam is not at all unusual. Honey butter is my favorite. Gravy is popular of course, and also egg sandwiches on biscuits. Pretty versatile.
