I’ve noticed that with ribeyes specifically, a sliver of the fat with the meat (although it isn’t as tender as a hunk of brisket meat or pichana typically) goes amazingly with the meat and helps moisten it a lot. I know it’s a rump steak so it might be a tougher fat. But for the most part, a properly cooked steaks fat will offer much help as far as moistening the meat and flavoring it of course

That looked like a proper challenge. You even seemed to struggle a bit, most unusual. What a gigantic steak that was!

I would wager it was the chewing and tired jaw that was slowing him rather than the sheer amount of food, but yeah it was belabored
@mizukasenju80702 жыл бұрын
@@catcol100 I also add they didn't give him a steak knife to cut the beast...so some time energy was lost from that
@tensemurm59242 жыл бұрын
@@mizukasenju8070 Looks like it is a steak knife, just without a wooden handle (which still probably means more effort from the gripping)

There's just something about this dude that seems so pleasant. Like he's cool to be around. Like if he was to enter the room, nobody might say it but their spirits are lifted a little bit and when he leaves, it's the opposite.

He is obviously not having to struggle to cut it and that's how quality steak should be-tender. In fact, when he abandoned the utensils he absolutely was tearing it with his fingers.

As an American I'd be downright miffed if I went to a steakhouse, ordered a steak, and it didn't come with a steak knife twice the size of the ones in the average kitchen set with a nice wooden handle. Must be UK knife violence thing.

@@bcaye still the grip of a good knife is a lot better with a nice wooden handle.
