Poor Guy, he should be responsible of his actions, he should've been arrested for firing the gun in the first place, mightier of injure an incident soal in the process, he even felt guilty after

@SeansTruckingAdventures he had the Gun in his own hands, shooting careless just scare away the dogs, that's why he felt guilty after, he knew he knew what he was doing. That means punishments for attempt to injure and murder even though he didn't mean to, that means jail time

My state has hunters who depending on the hunter, shoots first and asks questions later. There's been hundreds of shootings like this one due to that fact, one woman got shot in her backyard wearing white gloves. No one's safe in the woods during hunting season, or sometimes their own yard. Though it's not fully like this situation, these things happen more often than not. One guy I know had his father shot in the chest by his uncle when they were hunting when the guy removed his cap for a moment and wasn't wearing his hunting shirt.
@JessePorter9 жыл бұрын
Sara Nightfire That's not accurate or even remotely true! More people drown in bathtubs every year in the United States than are killed by "accidental" (actually, negligent) shootings.
@SaraNightfire19 жыл бұрын
Jesse Porter Hunting season, when there's people out with rifles all the time shooting animals. Mostly deer, sometimes moose, ducks, things like that. That's what I was talking about. Maine is a very huge hunting state and you can hear guns going off all the time in the woods during that season. They just have a tendency to shoot people without realizing it during that season. I wasn't saying statistic wise it's more than any other accident.
@JessePorter9 жыл бұрын
I know exactly what you meant. And it's still very untrue! I have done extensive research on the subject. What you are saying simply does not happen very often. The type of situation you describe has indeed taken place, but with an extremely low rate of occurrence. As in, virtually non-existent!
@JessePorter9 жыл бұрын
American gun owners (that includes hunters) are highly responsible individuals. We don't set off into the woods to shoot at anything & everything that happens to move! People who believe that way watch too many movies & listen to too much mainstream media.
@SaraNightfire19 жыл бұрын
Jesse Porter Dude... I live in Maine. A hunting state. Things happen. Same with hitting moose on the street even with all the warnings. When I say that someone got shot in the chest, it was my ex-bf's father who got shot in the chest by his uncle. It's not totally non-existent, but it has gone down, I even googled it. But it's still something that should be known.
@RedPanda9111 жыл бұрын
I can't imagine anyone being shot with a .22 rifle and surviving! I used to shoot one at an indoor range, it's the only safe place to shoot one.

I still that the man should have been arrested. He severely injured that young girl and could have killed her or friends. If that little girl would have been my daughter I would have filed a major lawsuit against him for what happened. There were numerous other ways to scare the dog out of there besides recklessly discharging a loaded rifle. I was always told that one of the rules of gun safety is to know your target and what is beyond it
