Incredibly diverse terrain on that track. Liked the light hearted vibe. Very pleasurable to watch.

@@BRollOffroad have you done any mods to the Xterra? If that suspension is stock, then Nissan really know what they're doing
@BRollOffroad6 жыл бұрын
the 1st gens flex better, this has a 2" Old Man Emu on it and no sway bars. pretty sure it was stock until video #53 but Turkey Track Trail really shows what this thing can do stock with bald tires haha.

@@BRollOffroad ok I'll check that vid out. I'm looking into getting quick disconnects for my rigs' sway bars

30 seconds in and I LOVE the drone footage! I know you just posted video but when did you record it? Just curious as to what it looks like in CO this time of year...

Hey! Great Video Nissan looks great. Got a question. I've actually got an Xterra pro-4 as well and am planning a trip up to Adam's Lake this weekend. Just have 265, 75, 16 ties, no lift, pretty much all stock, and some experience 4 wheeling. Do I have any shot at making it up this?
@BRollOffroad4 жыл бұрын
thanks! mmm your call. i’d have to watch the whole video again, just responding real quick at work, but i believe i scraped a couple of times. i have 1.5” bigger tires and 2” lift plus no sway bars.. but i also intentionally take “worse” lines to make it more interesting and fun so kind of hard to say. i’ll watch it tonight and report back.

B Roll Offroad Really appreciate the quick feedback! Ya I’m going up to do some hunting so I’ll definitely be taking easy lines.

@@BRollOffroad Another random question do you install lifts or have someone in the Denver area who does?
@BRollOffroad4 жыл бұрын
i don’t install lifts but my best friend runs Baker Garage and they do ‘em there. their number is 303-722-8658 👍 are you gonna do a complete kit with leaf packs and coil overs? doesn’t really matter, he does everything, just curious.
@WHPIII4 жыл бұрын
@@BRollOffroad That's the question haha. Trying to figure out my financing first, I like the idea of the coil overs, but may only be able to afford the simpler route ang go with the leveling kit. Which to my understanding is quite a bit cheaper.

I'll be the guy who goes against the grain.. I want more 4x4 and less drone footage. Don't get me wrong the lake drone scenes are golden but, seems like drone footage is overtaking the off-road aspect where offroading should be the focus.
@BRollOffroad6 жыл бұрын
i went back and forth a bunch but this trail just had so many lakes! i ended up cutting 15 more minutes of drone stuff after cutting 30mins initially. i'll always try to be 70/30 but the less tech/more scenic type of trails are going to shift it. thanks for the feedback, was beginning to think no one wanted tripod stuff at all haha.
@BRollOffroad6 жыл бұрын
also does that mean you don't want to see anything else? gear reviews, repairs, rig walkarounds, that kind of stuff? been wondering if i should expand or if that would just wreck it.
@nickp48366 жыл бұрын
I think gear walkarounds, stuff you've had to replace or other informative videos to help people would be a great idea. 30/70 with 70 being 4x4 would be good, or more really. Maybe even 90/10 haha. Plus tripod shots get those gritty wheeling sounds.
@BRollOffroad6 жыл бұрын
good to know. i also keep talking about getting another microphone i can strap underneath and sync with the drone shots. honestly i hate picking songs, it takes forever and i'm never totally happy. it'd be cool to have it added to the music, or it might be cool to have no music at all.
