Much better presentation, well done, I personally don’t care how quick they go up, brolly system’s are all much the same, it’s the other components that add time, hence I did not own a fox ultra brolly system for long, but if you’re into brolly systems then this looks worth a look, my fox frontier is just as quick and it’s a proper bivvy which is a definite keeper, it’s whatever works for you, good review, thanks

I'm going from a xl titan hide, over to this. I miss the split second deployment as if only fish off the barrow till its bed time. I'm buzzing to get my hands on this brolly. Gotta save some penny's

Usually like wychwood stuff it’s made of good quality materials. I have owned a wychwood two man bivvy for years and it’s never let me down even in wet and very windy conditions. This brolly doesn’t look like it would stand up to a gentle breeze.

It doesn’t lmao I woke up to my brolly in a tree at 3am took me 1 hour to get it pegged down as good as I can

Not sure how the chap above pegged his down, but with the front on so you’ve not got a kite, I used mine last night for the second time in gale force winds and it’s absolutely solid. Didn’t rattle a bit. The only thing it’s missing is a bit more of a peak at the front to stop rain getting in when the doors open.

Had the mk 1 for 5 years now and it hasn’t let me down and it’s an ideal piece of kit for short sessions although I’ve done 5 night sessions in it too. On the strength of my mk 1 my mate bought the mk 2 and in my opinion isnt any where near as good. The material isn’t as good and the whole thing had to be replaced twice as it leaked around the top cap and from where the hook for the storm poles is attached to the rib. Not sure the back vent panels offer much either as there’s plenty of ventilation from the front anyway but they seem to be the “thing” these days as they’re appearing on all the new bivvies and shelters. About the only thing that I’d say was better is the little insert for the main pole which you can hang your kit off.

I had my mk1 for 8years.much better material.it finally gave up last wkend.i just got the mk2 27th got to lake.put it up its got a pin prick hole in it.one storm pole cross threaded and the condensation is shocking.its soaking inside.bring back the mk1 material all they had to do to upgrade was put the new cap with the bigger cap and screwed in ribs.new version is crap.thats just after 12hour use.

Have had this brolly 3 years and I can honestly say it is terrible. The first big storm it went through the bolts on the inner pram hood all came loose with some going missing. Have found it hard to fins the correct bolts and threads to replace them. Than in the last year holes have started showing through the seems. After just 2 years water was coming in through multiple places in the top part. I have had to rewater proof it, reseal it and just yesterday patched up yet more holes. My first Whychood riot bivvy lasted 8 years without a single leak. I thought they would maintain the quality. They havent. Before you say use the warranty this one was a replacement for my original as the poles snapped as i opened the brolly. Would never buy one again as it is very poorly made and very poorly thought out.

All those 'features' have been around on the fox supa brolly for years. Just a re-engineered copy in my eyes

looks really flimsy how the front moved around a lot , my old nash oval brolly dont move at all .
@grahamlarkin12902 жыл бұрын
I'l stick to old version.ive had it 5yrs aint had any problems. And its handled 3 mental storms. I saw 3 other bivvys break in 1 storm.not my brolly it just bent inwards with the wind. And by looks the old one was better material.
