Bromley North Branch - Southeastern Network - Train Simulator

I traveled on this branch line many a time , it gets very busy in the morning and evening rush hour as it takes the load away from Bromley south apart from going to London bridge an alternative destination for Bromley commuters than Victoria , it is a quite underrated branch line for what it contributes to the network.

Do they run any direct services to LBG?

Its a few years since I lived in Bromley and I don't think they run a direct train to London any more via Grove Park that incedently absorbed passengers further up the line reducing crowding on trains up from Sevenoaks and you now have to change at Grove Park and I did hear that only one platform was in use at Bromley north wether that is still the case I do not know.

Just from some quick research which I found interesting. The station opened with 'South Eastern Railway' in 1878, to compete with the Bromley South station run by 'London, Chatham and Dover Railway'. It is a shuttle service, operated by the 465's (seems usually the /0's), and is driver only operated as of 2010. They actually used to go through to other stations such as Charing Cross but stopped in 1990. To be fair, Bromley North got ~150,000 entries/exits in 2021-22.

Just saw a video today actually that also talks about Catford and Catford bridge which has a similar story, with South Eastern opening Catford Bridge followed by London, Chatham and Dover opening Catford. They didn't seem to like each other.

Shortest branch line I've ever seen! Remind someone me of the Stourbridge line. They Might as well just run a class 150 or 153 on here.

There are plans.Proposals have been put forward by Transport for London and the London Borough of Bromley for the Bromley North Line to be extended and connected to either the Docklands Light Railway via a link south of Lewisham, to the Tramlink system from Beckenham Junction, or to an extension of the Bakerloo line from Elephant & Castle.

yea I saw about this, wasn't it just a proposal and nothing ever came of it? It was talked about around 2016/17 so idk

Btw, I didn't know if you've seen it but there's an awesome new train game on Roblox called British railways. Its a lot more realistic than the stepford county railway. It includes the class 142, 156 and 158. Like stepford county railway it is multiplayer so you can drive, guard and just Be a passenger.
