When I thought about buying a Brompton during Covid19, in 2019, for the vacation money sawed, I went to a large, ordinary Copenhagen Bikeshop after having asked what colors/models they had present? And also the several Brompton Dealers I asked before that, had not much respect for the willingness from Brompton to answer questions about bikes from the GB 🤨! But I was shown what different models they had present in the Shop as finished bikes, so I was never allowed to take my bike out of a cardboard box and collect what was needed to make it look - slightly as a bike! But the one I chose was a by then a Top, Flame painted 2019 SuperlightM6LXBromton! Since then I have mostly taken it apart again and I also got a new titanium, Ceramic Crank at First Service, for less resistance, plus all the bolt, nuts and parts from titanium to find, so for now it weighs around 8,5 kilo, and still with my mudguards! I expect to reach close to 8 kilo with a little more work, mostly on my mudguards and changes? Finn. Denmark

I agree with you guys on the colour. Marketing ! I'm a spray painter by trade, looks like K5 RAL 4001 or 4005 Red Lilac or Blue Lilac. Customers never really give me a code they call it it's name and refuse sometimes to hear for example " jet black "as RAL9005. Personifying colours really sells them, they're emotional choices after all as it's all so subjective. I have to say I love that colour Brompton, tan walls, gold chain with some other bling 🤤🤤

Great Video, and great color. I like the black extremities more then the uni color of the c-line. And I would like for brompton engineers to leave london every so often, so they understand a 44t option would be good for non explorers, which urban around on hilly terrain

Thank you so much for your many great videos! "Pop Lilac" is a nice colour, but I find it a bit "barbieish", so I ordered my P-Line electric in "Lunar Ice" (which in my view is nothing else than white). I find it really ennoying that Brompton doesn't make available all colours for all different models, in order to give the client the full free choice! Please talk to them and report back why they don't do that. I didn't really love any of the P-Line electric colours and that made me hesitate to buy one for a long while, having all the colour options would have made me buy it earlier! I ordered the 4-gear-version, because I think it should be sufficient for an e-bike, but I would love to see you make a comparison of the maximum range between the 4- and the 12-speed, I think in a hilly area the 12-speed could make a difference.

@@brilliantbikes As a first I gave my new bike a full Autopolish, and found the "clear tape" from the Factory nearly worn through after two folds, so the next I did was ordering a set of "Protective Plates" for "all" the week spots on a Brompton, primarily those with a tape, but also below the crank. It is easy to find the plates for sale in near sets, as a "Badge" for the fork, to be bolted on. This is why my full bike still is like new. I have latest put a P badge below my cable in the wire in front. Finn. Denmark

Brompton know that there will be a cohort of punters who will 'collect them all' and probably don't have the room! I would certainly buy one if they pay homage to Cadbury's Ice Breaker ( cost 6d) from the 1970s. It would be absolutely ideal if they made it as the E version if you look to the wrapper.

That’s a rape with that video certainly got it tapped , just a hint of criticism for Brompton = with over a million Brompton’s made so far many as I do own a six speed steel , to get the twelve speed have to purchase a new bike , it would of been nice if Brompton could of come up with a kit to upgrade for those who ride the bike mentioned, I understand it will only fit the the new design triangles , to say I’m disappointed with Brompton would do injustice to the word , this weeks song is for Brompton hopefully they can play it in the factory, song = Shame On You = Gun.
