The Borough Waterproof Large in Navy is the largest bag in Brompton’s new 2020 range of waterproof bags. Completely impervious to water, this roll top bag provides a large flexible carrying space, big enough for most journeys while providing weather protection in the meanest conditions.
Robust materials with a subtle two-tone effect and multiple storage compartments help to keep you organized on the go; whatever your ride demands. Functional features include an adjustable external load carry strap - great for helmet or a jacket. The interiors are finished in a bright orange lining and includes a laptop sleeve and multiple internal storage compartments, to keep your valuables safe and organised. There are two large rear pockets which are both waterproof, great for a waterproof, a water bottle or just keeping your soggy kit away from your lunch. This bag is finished with aluminium hardware and features a rubberised webbing handle, making it compatible with ALL Brompton handlebar types.

Personally, the classic T-bag is still the best designed in terms of looks and versatility.

I don't get the air release valve. I'd wager it's impossible to roll it in a way that makes it airtight. Also, no extension straps on the roll top buckles, like in the normal Borough Bag. The bags may look nice, but they're not well designed.

Many great points there! I think the bags designs are driven by marketing department and then it was met by some cost cutting =D. But then how many of these bags will end in the hand of heavy users.

they cannot be removed... laser welded like the rest of the bag

Good bag, but a bag this large, should have been a backpack. Not a shoulder bag. Especially when you carry your 10kg+ bike on your other hand. Also, hate that front clip.

Agreed.. Great points. Definitely too big for a shoulder bag. Front clip is not as easy to use as a normal plastic clip for sure.
