Brompton pedal choice for the A Line

Love seeing what you are doing w the A Line. Trying to decide A vs C Line Explorer but at $900 Cdn difference I don’t really see the value.

I have bad experience about putting washer between pedal and crank. When come to times, the washer slipped and the pedal came loose. And thats how I got an accident. The washer may lead the pedal thread not properly tightened. Be careful with that. Better have lock surface washer better safety than flat.

Sorry I missed this msg! The washer protectors the crank arm from being gouged by the corners of the hexagon, it also spreads the stress over a larger area

Sorry, seem to have missed why you dont have the Brompton peddles? Ok its an operation you must do but sois the winding in and out of the C clamps. And your MKS folders still stick out! The Brompton peddles, fold where they need to and don't where they don't. But enjoying your vids very much, thanks for the efforts. Take care

Yes they are more comfortable than the Brompton folding pedal. I'll do a video explaining why

I had them, I struggled with the yellow C clip in the cold weather, I did try without the C clip but had a pedal come off on Oxford Street, they were very smooth in use. Thanks for watching and the msg.

Thanks for the msg. The A-Line is excellent value for money, it's a perfectly good usable bike straight away, folding pedals, mudguards are an easy addition, your wife may need a different saddle and if she has hills to ride up it is easy to lower the gearing.
