Why put filler over the frame number? Now the bike’s provenance is untraceable. In the UK, no number = stolen.

They are pretty abusable bikes. Mine lives in my trunk is ridden in all weather and takes trips on mass transit daily. Paint looks like shit, but its all about utility.

@@skepticalmechanic I am more of a put it away wet. Carry it into construction sites daily, wipe it down once every couple months kind of user. They are yes, expensive bikes, but ultimately they are tools.

$37 has nothing to do with who you are. Worth or not worth it is depends on the owner, not from you or anyone else.
