Can you have a fender with a back rack and easy wheels ,i noticed that you didnt have a fender? .Love your videos ,very informative .Thank you Chris x

Hi Hanora Doyle Yes, it is possible to use a fender with the rack. I really ride in the rain, so no need for fenders. Nice to have you on board!

Ive faced the same issue so I did the same. However for everyone out there ur extender should be in line with the Fork.
@ChrisbyBike2 жыл бұрын
Hi P Hungmoe2 Thanks for the tip. Is there any particular reason to be in line with the fork?

I suppose You have changed the suspension block bolt to a possibly lighter one, from titanium, as I? And the Brompton, internal tool-kit was the first I bought from England, when I had bought my LightweightH6LXBrompton here in Denmark (If Brompton had found out to present the new titanium bike by then, I would most likely have bought one, even with two gears less than my 6 and the loose pedals to be lost during transport. I think the price is intended to be around the same as I paid for mine here in Denmark?). I do have an extended axle, easy wheel-set to be mounted on my bike also, both in a solid metal version, and one with a carbon tube in the middle! I don't think there is an actual weight difference, but the last looks more Pro! I have got my new titanium saddle pin with a ring-mount on top, and a new Selle San Marco Royal Rhino saddle to be mounted on my bike during a coming vacation. I just need to find out where I have put my special Brompton pump, for its titanium backframe? ;-) Finn

Hi Finn Carl Bomholt Sørensen You can put in a saddle bag or fix it on the triangle frame. I had a chance to ride the new Brompton T Line. It is fabulous. So light and great response from the pedals. Keep Safe! Keep Riding!

@@ChrisbyBike I bought a pump able to be mounted on the thin tube, as a Lightweight haven't got the piece of wire to hold the pump. But I have placed it somewhere safe. So now I don't know where it is!

@@ChrisbyBike I have looked at Titanium frames and parts from eastern producers, which may give the same, nearly weight reduction, but without the handling improvements from Brompton (but also the low number of gears). When following in the "footsteps", you never come in front! But some are made for small size/weight eastern persons, and being a well-fed, heavy Scandinavian man, I may need more strength from a frame. I think about a titanium stem-post though, which I may be able to buy also in my flaming yellow color as my Lightweight.

Looks like a loose easy wheel extender to me, has the tiny grub screw come out i wonder? It needs to be further back, you have to make sure that when the wheel is folded under the extender is at the right angle and not leaning on the suspension block. Thats how i have my extender on anyway without problems, a tip from me is once you get it at the right angle and and the two teeny tiny screws are in put some tape over them so if they come loose they won't fall away and are lost, what i did anyway.

Hi Bromptin Owner It was adjusted like that, but I think it moved on the airplane trip. Now it is fine. Working perfect. Thank you!

A product named "Locktite" will be able to make the bolt stay in place, both in a version for a permanent fix and one which makes the bolts able to be replaced again, if nessesary!
@finncarlbomholtsrensen11882 жыл бұрын
You may get a ring, a star washer, intended for holding a bolt, which may keep it in place
@ChrisbyBike2 жыл бұрын
Hi Finn Carl Bomholt Sørensen In this case, what happened was that the EasyWheel Extender forced the suspension block to move out of place during the airfreight. Keep Safe! Keep Riding!

My also install Firm Absorber, (lasttime same like u spring absorber), now the speed 20km easily, and sometime Yesterday 23km Max speed -XOSS computer, lasttime was 18km (to soft absorber, can also reach 25km). This Firm Absorber give me more stiff paddle n corner. I not yet try the max speed, I think can easily 20km is that ok for Brompton? Next time I try stiff road see how 😅
@ChrisbyBike Жыл бұрын
Hi Leongkinheng Yes, the Firm suspension block let you go faster because it gives you more stability and preserve your pedal stroke force. Check this video. I've done 46km/h on my Brompton before changing the 50T to a 44T. kzbin.info/www/bejne/pXrbY5uDeNd_ars Nice to have you on board!
