Good evening ma'am , why do we use bronchodilators.. like i mean its already dilated in this disease...and it may dilate more right ?

Yes, your question is a valid one, but the point is that in bronchiectasis there is not only dilatation of the bronchi alone, it is also accompanied with other factors like collection of secretions (mucus) in widened bronchi which in a way cause obstruction leading to dyspnea or shortness of breath. For this reason bronchodilators are required 🙂
