I did epidemiology at University. I was interested to note that there seems a significant absense of prevention by prevention of causes and all enphasis appears to be treatment with mostly antibiotics. So what if a long term street urchin ilegal drug user colapsed and was taken to the hospital with what clearly appears to be servear pnemonia. I wrote heroin but it could be alcohol abuse, Phentanol, spice or other drugs or factors such as abnormally poor diet resulting from seriouse poverty. Clearly some use of antibiotics could in the short term be effective but they can not or do not cure the causes of drug abuse or malpractice which lowers the immune system and allows the body to become infected.
