Bronco Suspension Review (An unbiased guide)

Whats up y'all, in this video we compare King, Icon, and Radflo head to head and throw the Raptor in for comparisons sake and for good measure. We had a ton of fun filming this and stay tuned for further videos featuring Gold Country Bronco's where we will dive further into the different suspensions and mods available for Broncos. Some sweet rigs setups!!! I'm curious what the aftermarket Foxes on non-Hoss 3.0 Bronco would measure. I think the differences in flex very minimal for the Kings, Icons, and RadFlos. Also very curious what the Long travel systems out there would compare with the BRaptor. I've had the RadFlo ETs with MetalCloak rear Trailiing arms and love them so far. Really good at this. Keep up the great work. I have a BaseSquatch. Mods I've done. Nothing. Except skid plates everywhere. Job done. I dont wheel really hard only moderate trails, its all I can handle stress wise and $ wise. Love it.

I absolutely love my Badlands SAS, we have a ton of fun with it - but I've been itching to upgrade to Kings or Icons. Seeing the Raptor doing so well stock though? 🤔🤔 Well, I think that seals it... I might wait until interest rates are no longer crazy, and get a BRaptor.

Did Randy notice a difference when he installed the winch on the front? I have a 2023 bronco raptor and I installed a similar set up and I do feel the front dive more than it did I’m going to add a small preload spacer on the bottom of the spring which theoretically will lift it about 1 inch in the front which I would assume will fix my stink bug problem but I’m curious if he feels it also thanks for that awesome review👍👍👍👍👍👍

@@FieldWorxoverlandadventures from Randy, “I didn’t really notice a big difference, but I added the winch very shortly after I bought it so I’m not sure my sense of discernment was that great. I did do a very quick measured comparison against another raptor one day and I do believe I my front end dropped a little. But I’m we were on different spots of the ford dealer parking lot so who knows. Definitely not a scientific comparison. The Raptor dives hard on braking since the beginning and still does. I did some high speed braking tests right when I got it since the braking performance on Broncos in general and Raptors in particular is just awful. I don’t recall the dive being any worse after the winch. I have bought back a little weight by removing my bumper end caps and the two sets of fog lights. Hope that helps in some way.”

Would love to see the Fox 2.5 or 3.0 added to this comparison on the other Broncos. There is a reason Ford chooses Fox for the Raptor.

I’m running radflo 2.5 on my bronco super smooth but need to dial them in a bit more to make it less bouncy.

Awesome! What kind of wheeling have you done with them? Any tuning or just off the shelf?

Sorry if I missed it but were the front sway bars disconnected for the RTI test? Or did they all stay connected to make it more fair test?

Hey there, very good question and sorry if I failed to include that. Yes all the sway bars were disconnected for the most valid comparison. None of the Broncos had rear sway bars either.

Not many 2 doors in our group let alone 2 doors on aftermarket suspension. I do have some 2 door plans in the works though. ;) I have sooo many videos I wish I could make but don’t have the resources yet.
