From age 21-26 Thanasis couldn’t get a job in the NBA then age 27-31 for 5 years he’s been riding Milwaukees bench because he’s Giannis’s brother and only plays garbage time. Sometimes the younger prospect who’s like 19 and didn’t have a good freshman year will get drafted over a 4 year college guy who was a star D1 there’s actually a lot of current NBA players who averaged 5pts or less as freshman in college. Is Bronny NBA ready to be in a rotation? Probably not but it’s not unheard of for a not ready prospect to get drafted as a project and put in the G-league more 2nd round picks don’t make it long term anyway. Thanasis might be better now at 31 years old but people acting like Bronny has no potential and there’s no justification for him drafted are singling him out because he’s LeBrons son and don’t pay attention to all of the other project players who didn’t prove themselves in college.

He’s a 55th pick, we KNOW he got drafted because of his dad. It would be a different story if they wasted a top 10 pick on him, but 55th picks rarely end up doing anything other than warming the bench. If he does SOMETHING for the team that’s already above average. But at least we get to see a father and son duo play on the same team for the first time in history and that’s motivation for both of them to make it a good season.

Brah this is terrible. His first bucket came at the end of the 4th quarter and had no impact on winning the game. Yet people are celebrating like he really did something meaningful. Y’all better stop trying to mess up my favorite sport. 🤦🏾♂️

How you still gonna be hating on Bronny for all this? He’s the son of a top 2 basketball player OAT and he made some great plays.

I'm rooting for Bronny, nice kid that was born into this, and he is trying versus hiding. Championships are easily forgotten... fathers and sons working together to build something is a storyline that beats a title.
