He has improved a lot. He’s not best in class, but he’s up there. He’s impressive with the growth he’s had over the years. He’s gained a lot of confidence in his game. Shot and post game looks great. Facilitate like his dad and his defense looks decent. There’s promise there.

He's getting A LOT better, the thing that's holding him back is his handle, he does not have a high level handle, in full games you'll see when they pressure in the backcourt or get in his face, if he has no screen 8/10 he'll pass the ball out. That's why sometimes he disappears in games, a handle would unlock his facilitating as well. I think not growing up playing with the ball and trying 80 moves kinda handicapped him in a way. All his games, he's a no nonsense dribbler

Probably most impressive thing has been his growth. Consider the pressure on him being LeBron's first son and having the same name, yet he's steadily improved in every area of his game season after season it appears. I know these are highlights so they are meant to be his best plays but what I like most is that he doesn't seem to hesitate or hold the ball. Don't matter if he's passing, dribbling, shooting, playing d. Whatever he's doing, he's making a quick decision and doing it with confidence and awareness at the same time. If he gets a year in college or the G-League, I think he'll make the NBA as a genuine contributor and not just coz his dad wants to play with him.

Bronny plays like Lebrun but he shoots better. He just needs to work on his hips a little bit so that his crossovers can be more effective. If he steps out wider on the crossover, the defender is more subject to bite on it, or he would turn their hips to get them out of his drive path.

That’s actually his weakness right now, but you can’t tell in highlight clips. I actually think there’s something to it though because while it’s a weakness now, his shot is really clean overall. You see some really smooth pull-ups in his highlights. It feels like inconsistent gather and small issues like that. As he cleans up his footwork, he’s eventually going to be a good off the dribble shooter. He’s going to be deadly with his hang dribble pull-up in a couple of years.

People hating on him why? Looks more then a skillful player, has a great pull up , sizes well against opposition, great athleticism, definitely a triple double threat. His game sort of reminds me of Cade Cunningham. Has the open three but takes it down the lane. Only reason the kid has hate is because LBJ is his dad otherwise people would be excited about him ( not saying his the greatest kid to come out ) but looks like a fantastic prospect. This kid could be something special, excited for whoever drafts him - could be a early draft due to his name and what kind of media it could bring to a franchise , but more of a round one pick 10-12+ Looks very promising! Keep it up my man!!

Outside of his work ethic (which I have no idea about) this seems like a great case study on whether a player with access to some of the best coaching can truly make it to the league. I have seen videos on ballislife for a few years now and to me, his talent does not seem to jump off the screen. I am looking for that elite thing that makes him different and I do not see it. That being said a lot of life is about who you know.

@@user_user_user8957 What do you think he will be at the college level (If he goes)? Mac McClung ( who was pretty nasty in HS) for instance averaged about 15 in college but he did have some of the tangibles some would expect out of a NBA player. He showed out in summer league this year and I think he may have been signed by GS at age 23. I guess we will see but for his sake I hope he is not Thanasis Antetokounmpo.
@GoZags43
@GoZags43 Жыл бұрын
@@deejames2257 Mac Mcclung is probably a decent comp except Mcclung learned to really play basketball after college. Bronny won’t have bad shot selection like Mac did in college. Bronny’s play style is reminiscent of Joe Johnson, but Bronny is just “small” (obviously not real life small but NBA small). I’d bet he’s 6’2 without shoes, but I could be wrong. If he doesn’t grow, he will have a tough time really making it in the league because he’s not a true 1. His handle just isn’t elite, and he doesn’t have that innate ball screen mastery like a lead ball handler. Having said that, his shot will translate, and he will improve a lot as an off the dribble shooter. I still say Joe Johnson is the comp, but 6’2-6-3 Joe Johnson isn’t NEAR the player as actual Joe Johnson because one of iso Joe’s trump cards on an NBA floor was his size/strength.

You aren’t stupid because there are similarities. Their jump shots are even similar. You’re also right that he isn’t remotely close to Gilbert as a scorer. Looks like he’ll be a nice good combo guard in college. Power 5 starter somewhere. Smart player for sure like his dad. Just lacks the god given athleticism or size. Not sure about the nba. So many guard tape I’ve seen from high school recently and years back like Herro, etc, and the nba guys nowadays look a lot better at the same age in high school. And he’s had optimal resources to develop, too, and guidance from the arguably greatest ever so I wonder how much better he can get. If he grows two more inches he may have a shot to make the nba because he doesn’t have the athleticism and dynamic star feel to the game like others I’ve seen given his size. He’s smart, though, and has a solid overall game. Would be very cool if he can make an nba roster.

Rivals, etc have dropped him in their ratings. I'm curious, will he go "one and done" or possibly a big G-League route? His Dad has expressed desire to play with him, I wouldn't be suprised to see a "package handshake deal" in Lebron's last contract (wherever that is) that will include a two-way contract for Brony in 2024. He won't be a 2024 lottery pick.

Players have been injured and drafted in the lottery. Potential is a key factor. Once his body is NBA ready he’ll be drafted simply because scouts can see he has a high ball iq and he’s well rounded. They already know his work ethic and his personality so it’s only a matter of time.
