I live in a small town and I know what you mean. It can be very depressing. I live in Manchester by the Sea, Massachusetts. There's actually a movie with the same name that was filmed here. It's a nice little summer beach town but at the same time it's kinda depressing if you live here and aren't a tourist. It's just the same narrow minded people doing the same things every day.
