↓ LYRICS ↓
[Intro]
To your soul
To your soul
Cry
Cry
Cry
[Verse 1]
You leave in the morning with everything you own in a little black case
Alone on a platform, the wind and the rain on a sad and lonely face
[Verse 2]
Mother will never understand why you had to leave
But the answers you seek will never be found at home
The love that you need will never be found at home
[Chorus]
Run away, turn away, run away, turn away, run away
Run away, turn away, run away, turn away, run away
[Verse 3]
Pushed around and kicked around, always a lonely boy
You were the one that they'd talk about around town as they put you down
[Verse 4]
And as hard as they would try they'd hurt to make you cry
But you never cried to them, just to your soul
No, you never cried to them, just to your soul
[Chorus]
Run away, turn away, run away, turn away, run away (Crying to your soul)
Run away, turn away, run away, turn away, run away (Crying to your soul)
Run away, turn away, run away, turn away, run away (Crying to your soul)
Run away, turn away, run away, turn away, run away
[Bridge]
Cry, boy, cry
Cry, boy, cry
Cry, boy, cry, boy, cry
Cry, boy, cry, boy, cry
Cry, boy, cry, boy, cry
Cry, boy, cry, boy, cry
Cry, boy, cry, boy, cry
Cry, boy, cry, boy, cry
[Verse 5]
You leave in the morning with everything you own in a little black case
Alone on a platform, the wind and the rain on a sad and lonely face
[Chorus]
Run away, turn away, run away, turn away, run away
Run away, turn away, run away, turn away, run away
Run away, turn away, run away, turn away, run away
Run away, turn away, run away, turn away, run away
Run away, turn away, run away, turn away, run away
Run away, turn away, run away, turn away, run away

Ehh, have you mosert or summerian music? All music in the 9000 years doesn't compare. We have never shattered a mountain with our music, there are carved in temples that showed the damages that came from them learning to master kinetic acoustics, nothing like using the ground of a country as your speaker.

I love all walks of music even though some arnt what I'm Into.. but I'd prefer the option of becoming educated than being ignorant. I have a friend who feels he isnt safe it he came out to his parents. I havnt been there and I'm lucky for all of it but I cant understand how ones parents fail time and time again to take onwer ship of their creation. Its mading that anyone let alone your god dang parents could do something so inhumane.

This song hit my ears tonight in the grocery store and took me back to the days of alt rock in the 80's. Back when the artists wrote their own music and sang about what they cared about. They put their emotions, hearts and souls into their music and I loved it. Lucky for me, there was an independent alt rock radio station just north of Cincinnati where I live. Called 97X The Future of Rock and Roll - WOXY in Oxford Ohio. Found all this greatness and never looked back!

I live in a small town and I know what you mean. It can be very depressing. I live in Manchester by the Sea, Massachusetts. There's actually a movie with the same name that was filmed here. It's a nice little summer beach town but at the same time it's kinda depressing if you live here and aren't a tourist. It's just the same narrow minded people doing the same things every day. Same routine. Nothing ever changes here. Sometimes I dream about running away to LA or somewhere.

it is not only a hymn for gay people, but for misfits and outcast toys around the world. for girls and boys, who are eager for more than what they got. metal, rock community, other guys who needs to leave their burnt out towns and villages with only hopes in their hearts. I am a metalhead, I will always be. yet, this song is limitless for me to listen to. and what more, I just really dig the simple as hell, but charming drum play. have a nice day, all of you

To your soul To your soul Cry Cry Cry You leave in the morning with everything you own in a little black case Alone on a platform, the wind and the rain on a sad and lonely face Mother will never understand why you had to leave But the answers you seek will never be found at home The love that you need will never be found at home Run away, turn away, run away, turn away, run away Run away, turn away, run away, turn away, run away Pushed around and kicked around, always a lonely boy You were the one that they'd talk about around town as they put you down And as hard as they would try they'd hurt to make you cry But you never cried to them, just to your soul No, you never cried to them, just to your soul Run away, turn away, run away, turn away, run away (crying to your soul) Run away, turn away, run away, turn away, run away (crying to your soul) Run away, turn away, run away, turn away, run away (crying to your soul) Run away, turn away, run away, turn away, run away Cry, boy, cry Cry, boy, cry Cry, boy, cry, boy, cry Cry, boy, cry, boy, cry Cry, boy, cry, boy, cry Cry, boy, cry, boy, cry Cry, boy, cry, boy, cry Cry, boy, cry, boy, cry You leave in the morning with everything you own in a little black case Alone on a platform, the wind and the rain on a sad and lonely face Run away, turn away, run away, turn away, run away Run away, turn away, run away, turn away, run away Run away, turn away, run away, turn away, run away Run away, turn away, run away, turn away, run away Run away, turn away, run away, turn away, run away Run away, turn away, run away, turn away, run away

I tear up nearly every time I hear this song. We've come a long way but there are still young people who have been shunned or even kicked out by their families and communities, myself included, I can only hope we keep improving. Talk about extremely memorable 🎸🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎹
