@@ScarletBlueScarletBlue its live. They would not say "live" if it wasn't. The track is the studio version, like a karaoke type track, you can hear him breath in places and bits that the notes are a tad short or its just not 100% flawless like it would be if they did it the day before. He didn't like miming. They forced him and Sarah to mime "don't leave me this way" and they switched parts and mimed each others lines to annoy the BBC. So it makes sense that he insisted on singing live here.

@jeframp38052 жыл бұрын
but as my somone I know who is vocally trained pointed out he used a poor techique to hit the high notes. If you hear him now theres some apparent vocal damage. You can hear it start here. He is pushing to hard on the top notes. Belting in Head voice in his upper range with too much force. Amazing singer though. He can still sing well but yh he wasn't using healthy singing practices to hit the top notes.
@Euph3mia2 жыл бұрын
@@jeframp3805 Yes, that I know. Of course his vocal health matters. What I was commenting on is that he still has a beautiful voice, regardless of technique. And this very song is just iconic, coming from someone who is an ally of the LGBTQ+ community. I’m straight but the fact Jimmy spoke up about such issues in this song is excellent and brave. He couldn’t have done it in a more beautiful way.
