It’s the best place to fish when the wind is pumping and sea is massive- it’s never really affected by weather. But it’s also not a spot where any spectacular fish have come out (and we have fished there over 100 times at least).

So if you’ve figured out Verandah, then this is Boulder Bay. So if you’re facing the sea, it’s about 500m to the right of Verandah at Milkwood🤙🏻

We have seen a lot of juvenile Garrick come out in local rivers and estuaries- all on artificial baits. Depending on what area you are staying, but East Coast is where we have seen most of them. Smaller non eds are all over at the moment in this cold water- make sure you use a big bloody bait (such as a mackerel head).
