Yeah I would have kept as well. I feel like this hand has a better chance to work out than a random mulligan. Maybe because it's Bo1 he put his faith in the hand smoother.

At 54:27 If the opponent blocks the ghoul and you sac the lions you would be left with a 3/3 ghoul instead of a 2/2 ghoul since the +1/+1 counter is permanent. Thats why they blocked that way and took the 2 damage.

I think playing your first tapped land that only produces 1 color is fine if you have the life gain synergies. An extra trigger of pridemate or the cat collector could be good over the course of deck's a run.

The last game mulligan is weird, you have both colours and a two-drop, I believe it is a keep specially in a slow format (especially on the play)

I don't like how committed Jim is to the sacrifice deck in Pack 2. We're BW and BW is the life-gain deck in this set. Not that we need to focus on lifegain but why are we focused on sacrifice? That's the Rakdos strategy.

Re: Stab vs Disfigure. I think long-time MTG players are rather desensitized to how gruesome old (and new) cards can be. Obviously, black cards with cruel, morbid themes are a dime a dozen, even today, but if you haven't been conditioned on it for the last 15 years, the verb "Disfigure" does imply significantly more gore, maliciousness, and cruelty than "Stab", so I think reskinning it as "Stab" is fine for a starter set. And don't forget that everything is Commander, where redundant spells aren't redundant. MKM Massacre Girl commanders are probably happy to add Stab to their deck.

Yeah, I feel like he's said these kind of things a lot. The deck lacks this function so I'm going to seemingly actively make choices so that it never gets there. Of course we're seeing this knowing the cards come, so that's the only reason I don't get too mad about it.

It is low bronze, but it still makes very little sense to me. Do new Magic players really exist? And if so, how are they brand new to card games in general? I'm almost more inclined to believe it is a bot. How do you draft a bunch of instead speed synergy and cast them all as sorceries? Edit: I hadn't even finished the game when initially replying. Watching it through physically pained me. I'm sticking with a bot.

Don't know if It could be possibile but this run made me think It would be cool to have an in game chat with opponent so players might take suggestions and point out obvious mistakes. Obviously it should be possible to mute it
