I had to come back to this tut. It's gonna be a surprise for a woman where I receive physical therapy. She enjoys what I wear so thought this would be a sweet surprise. I don't have 3mm pearls but I did use an 8mm SB in place of them. It worked and looked great with the last one I made.. So thank you from me and this wonderful woman :)

Absolutely gorgeous!!!! I wanted to share with you something someone had told me when I started knitting. First, there are no such things as mistakes - they’re called “design elements!” Lol!!! And second, you can apply this to any group of people from years and years ago - gypsies, Irish, Italian, etc, it was said that babies were never wrapped or clothed in anything perfect for fear of (fill in mythological creature here - goblins, fae, leprechaun, etc) stealing them. As long as there was an “imperfection,” it kept them safe. Then there’s the old religious beliefs that only The Creator is perfect and therefore we shouldn’t compare ourselves to Him, etc. I’m sure you’ve probably heard at least one of these stories, but I thought I’d share them just in case. I hope you’re feeling better! Lots of tea and honey will help!! Thank you for brightening up my morning!! 😊💜💕💜

OMG, this is so helpful. You don't miss any necessary detail for making this bracelet. I am definitely making a bracelet for my friend, who requested a purple bracelet for her left wrist for use while squaredancing. (Squaredancers will wear a bracelet on the left wrist so they don't have to think "which is left or right" while dancing.)

Made this today, but my 11/0 seed beads are bigger, must be because they are Toho. Anyway, it produced an open weave and I love it! The circles were larger so I had to use more beads around the edges, but everything fits and looks amazing. Looks like a netting bracelet. Who knew? Thanks for the video!

I love happy accidents when beading 🌻😊🙏 The Toho’s seemed to have enlarged the netting component in this pattern in a very good way! I’m glad you love it 😍

hi. just to mention: I made this one with Chech beads because Swarovski is more difficult to buy here (means it's crazy expensive, makes pcs really difficult to sell). So with Chech seed beads, pearls and firepolish instead bicones - I used only 15/0 seed beads and it fits perfectly. I'm planning Victoria Lace all the pcs *necless, bracelet, earrings, and will let you know what happened becausefor this I'll use Chech bicones too, it is really beautiful design. THANK YOU!!!

Great minds think alike! I was thinking about making a narrower version of the bracelet after watching your necklace and ring videos. Lo and behold, your next video was a narrower bracelet. Yeah! I don't have to figure it out myself, although my idea for narrower was pretty much what you did in this video. I prefer bracelets that aren't very wide, so this will be perfect. Thank you for your amazing teaching skills and of course, your artist talent. I have learned so much from watching your videos. Get better soon. Colds are the pits.

Very beautiful Stephanie! I’ve done the same thing before (leaving out one flipping bead) and me being the perfectionist I’ve torn it all apart and redone!! 😥 I would have noticed it. I’ve done it too many times to admit even though I felt like throwing it in the trash. In fact there are a few I have redone more than twice. 🙄

Hi Stephanie~ I recently made this lovely bracelet in an evening, and just love how quickly it went together with the end result so pretty. Do you have trouble with the magnetic clasps coming apart? I found I had to add a chain to sort of catch the bracelet because it kept coming open. Maybe it is the size of clasp I am using. Anyway, once again, a beautiful design. Thanks!! I have had a problem with the sides of this bracelet. I found that with 11/0 sb-4mm bicone-sb, it had a fair amount of thread showing but increasing to 2 sbs on each side was too much, it looks lumpy. I have tried with both Miyuki and Toho seed beads. Does anyone have a suggestion for me?
@BronzeponyBeadedJewelry5 жыл бұрын
Hi Jean. The sequence should work but you have to be very mindful of your tension. It’s trickier than it looks. I would keep the sequence and finish the sides. It should even out. You can try adding a 15/0 along with the 11/0 if you want to fill in the areas where the thread shows🌻 Also, check your initial units down the center. Are you pulling tight enough to make the pearls pop and the 11/0’s are snug against one another? This determines the space for the 11/0 bicone 11/0 on the sides.
@jeangimena27114 жыл бұрын
