BROODMOTHER [Sorlag Theme]

My interpretation of what would be Sorlag's (Quake Champions) theme song! I was kind of envisioning how fighting game characters have their tracks that play while I made this. Like most champions, Sorlag doesn't hail from the "Other Place", yet from her own world, bathed in bloodshed from warring clans. With this theme, I sort of wanted to blend the two concepts together, tribal rage and the Lovecraftian nightmare of Quake.

@@kingofpigs6630 there's a few things Number 1 they removed the free currency. The free currency was earned through daily challenges and log in bonuses. You could get the loot boxes with them pretty easily and made unlocking armor variants really simple. But they took it away now you can only get loot boxes by buying them or getting them as a log in bonus. Number 2 for some reason they added the battle pass system into the game. Folding ideas did a video about fortnite that goes into why battle passes are super toxic and bad for consumers, but the summary is, it tantilizes you with the idea of better rewards, and when you buy one you get a discount on the next seasons battle pass, rewarding you for dropping money. Number 3 they keep resetting people's levels for whatever ungodly reason. It wouldn't be so annoying if you didn't have to be like level five to play ranked. Number 4 to get the Champions you have to use shards or buy all of them outright, and guess how easy it is to unlock shards

@@danielkruyer5425 I don't know if you've played recently, but unlocking armor variants and champions is very very easy, you don't even need a lootbox. They brought back daily log in rewards, allowing you to get both free Shards and Platinum (5 and 100 weekly respectively). With Shards you can unlock a champion (10 Shards) and then there is a unlock system in which 1 Shard provides with one things for the specific champion (armor variants, color schemes and lore) which allows you to get every non-premium item for free and without lootboxes. At this point (maybe not when first introduced) I find this system far superior and far more consumer-friendly than the previous get lootboxes and hope it's not a duplicate. For premium (non-battle pass) items: you can also get these for free and you no longer have to wait for it to be on the store. If you go to customization and click on a vanity or weapon cosmetic you should be able to buy it with plat, if it's on the store it just means it's discounted Battle pass: I can see why this can be bad for consumers, but you can also get each for free even if it takes a while. Levels: I agree that it is annoying to have get back to level 10 every season to play ranked, but it would be an easy fix for them to change that requirement. Levels are tied to battle pass now, that's why they reset.

@@danielkruyer5425 Bruh. 1) There is free currency in the game, those are called "Shards" and you get 5 of them without doing nothing but just logging in daily. If you complete missions or reach level up you keep getting them to the point where you don't know what to do with all the shards. They also give 100 Platinum every week, totally for free, just for daily logins. 2) Lootboxes are banned because of the new laws. Many of the games have some kind of a battle pass system now. You don't even need to buy the battle pass to get the full experience. That's just for cosmetics. It is possible to get battle pass for free if you keep logging in every day and get weekly 100 free Platinum. 3) They reset the level because of the battle pass system. Levels don't mean anything other than that. No one else but you can see your level anyway. The only problem is as you mentioned, for some stupid reason, you have to get to level 10 or something so you can play ranked. 4) It's easy to unlock champions so new players can get hooked up. Before the economy update, with a full day grind, you could unlock 3 champions in 2 months. This was turning away players. It was like, "pay, or play for a year for full experience". They had to change that. I'm not saying the game is in an OK situation, it has been a mess. Loading times, lack of maps, lack of updates, some bugs take 3 months to be fixed, some necessary features take more than a year to be implemented, some champion abilities ruin the overall feel... Yes, it is a mess, but those are not what you should be complaining about.
