She has one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard. This song should end up becoming a classic. It really speaks to the heart.

Their live performances are soo organic and natural, audience is treated to something little diferent everytime. True artists.
@AmanOU2be10 жыл бұрын
Neojhun Yea. You could attend and have NO idea that their foundation is usually heavily electronic. For me it was kinda the opposite. I see broods - Bridges live in the sidebar and think "That will probably be bad. Oh, it is just her and a piano? No WAY that can be good." Then I just sit in surprising contentment for the duration and search for live versions of their other tracks. I think they should pull a Manchester Orchestra and release the entire album again rearranged but acoustic.

You guys are awesome. I love this song. There are not so many songs that show a child`s love and appreciation for parents. You make me love my parents even more and that is a great thing. Thank you.

What have I done to deserve to hear such beautiful sounds!? I swear Georgia sounds better live than in the studio... I've seen them perform in concert and do an intimate acoustic set like this, and both were just as you'd expect from them (amazing)

"Mother & Father" The nights are getting shorter I don’t know where they go And I am getting older And it's starting to show And ever since I left my mother It’s much harder to know How to make my own life here How to make my own home I don’t want to wake up lonely I don’t want to just be fine I don't want to keep on hoping Forget what I have in mind I don’t want to wake up lonely I don’t want to just be fine I don't want to keep on hoping Forget what I have in mind Forget what I have in mind I remember the time when a kiss on the hand was enough Cause we knew we were free And we knew what it meant to be loved But ever since I left my father It’s much harder to know How to live my own life here When all I need is home I don’t want to wake up lonely I don’t want to just be fine I don't want to keep on hoping Forget what I have in mind I don’t want to wake up lonely I don’t want to just be fine I don't want to keep on hoping Forget what I have in mind Forget what I have in mind As faces start to fade They’re slipping through my hands It's where my heart was made And my feet will always land I don’t want to wake up lonely I don’t want to just be fine I don't want to keep on hoping Forget what I have in mind I don’t want to wake up lonely I don’t want to just be fine I don't want to keep on hoping Forget what I have in mind Forget what I have in mind

Broods for me are probably the best duo band i have ever heard! And Georgia is one of those singers that made me fall in love with her voice at a first listen,i really do wish them the best,but i hope Georgia and Caleb rather wishes to follow artists like Imogen Heap and have their own say to their creation rather than go full mainstream and have milliona of followers but limited with their creativity! All I know is that I am in love with Broods,and wish to see them live as I know they wont disappoint..

I want them to be successful but I don't want their songs to be super popular on the radio because people will start overplaying them and claim that they've been with them since the beginning when they haven't and that annoys me.
@adinwarner-rosen977810 жыл бұрын
They're not your friends man. They're artists whose musical output you consume and enjoy. It's their job to write songs people like. That's how they make money. My point is, musicians are service providers, like plumbers or bus drivers. And in the case of a band like Broods, they operate on a large enough scale that you as an individual mean nothing to them personally. The fact that you have been a loyal customer does not at the end of the day make any tangible difference. It just so happens that you were introduced to their music at some point before other people were. This should not be a point of pride for you. You have no more claim on them than anyone else.
@LaShawnMcGeeJr10 жыл бұрын
duh! i was joking. I just forgot to put the "jk" at the end.
