Manic, her third album, comes out next month. She's selling out stadiums. She has platinum certified records... and that's all surreal. I remember listening for the first time to Room 93 crying my heart out back in 2014. I'm not here to say she's too famous now, I'm so happy for her, for all recognition she's getting now. But I'll always remember the 15 year old me dancing and crying to this young unkown artist everybody needed to discover sooner or later. She did it + she's keeping on doing it better than ever - Manic, out 01/17, feat. the singles "Without Me", "Graveyard" & "Clementine"

"sadly everyone knows her now" Umm... what? So it's a BAD thing that she is successful now? Your need to feel like part of some exclusive small group that "knows about this obscure singer" is so pathetic. You realize that if you did go back to the days when she was "your little secret" no one would give a shit right? You'd be no different than the countless small fanbases of the thousands of singers and musicians that are obscure right now, as we speak. The only reason if feels "cool" to have known about her before she was big... IS BECAUSE SHE GOT BIG. How do you not understand that your sense of hipster self-satisfaction would not exist if she hadn't become "known by everybody"? Pathetic.

This woman has so much respect from me.. She has a voice like no other and she is so beautiful inside and out. I can tell she has been threw alot and I have never been in her presence not once but I feel her emotions threw her vocal ability to tell her story just threw her voice alone. This is something that is so rare an her talents far exceed anything I have heard in my 34 years of existence and I am a music lover all the way. I grew up being quizzed on music from older eras by both of my Parents that devoriced when I was 2 so I loved music from an early age but back to the point and the fact that she is what music rarely has these days which is authenticity emotionally 🎶. To be able to feel her scars threw her voice just like one of my all time favorites lane stayley because he had the same quality to sing better live and you could feel his pain or love threw his voice just like her!!! She is definitely one of a kind and I hope she will be able to find a authentic human to live her life with because I feel she definitely deserves this and I know yall can agree 100%. Thank you Halsey for just being you and not trying to fit in and just be yourself because this is what I believe to be important and I hope you feel the same way.
