What i got from this video: He was drowning from all the feelings that he felt, and she was out of his sight.... But then soon after he fell again, went back to her and she let him in. Well, she wasn't happy to see him because she didnt fall as hard as he did. She remembers everything, and she begins to soak up what he had felt. But as soon as they try to restart, and momentum kicks in, she realized that she didnt feel what he did, and left him to drown again, leaving him in the tiny puddle, (to her), but in the middle of the ocean, (to him). "But it's never gonna change."

This song reminds me of my ex. We dated on and off for 7 years. He always came back when he felt uncomfortable, which was unfair to me. I moved on and felt guilty at the time, and left that guy. After 7 years of this bullshit I now realize he is the problem. I have the right to be happy,no more of this guilty shit. I always felt bad for him. Never go back to someone because you feel bad, it will fuck you up in the end.

he cant go anywhere or do anything without these emotions pouring themself out of him . i mean they arent meant to stay in there , and theyre likely traumatic and my guess is a result of guilt . need to squeeze out that wash cloth in life if we want to be able to absorb experience without constantly losing something from trying which is what hes doing just losing the joy of his experience cause this emotion constantly pours out of him wherever he goes

This music got me fawked up.... memories continue to shadow my past. Lost in the illusion of there was some type of hope of anything ever to last. But the decision of separation was made way before I ever saw it coming. I can say the reason why I didn't see it coming was because I was to busy looking at you and never looking at myself as the one who needed to change. Now all I have is just another song to add in a playlist that I put up on KZbin. Its been 2 yrs. You'd think I be over it? Shit got me fucked up

if you think about it the meaning of the song and the video are so powerful.. and I love how they use water to represent stress.. I may be wrong but that is my observation. Storytellingiem, spójnością, klimatem i muzyczną synchronizacją.

They think they can change so both of them are happy, but instead they're drowning in feelings, since they can "never change", even when they want to. They both want something entirely different. That's why they continuously have sex but end up looking like they regret it afterwards. His emotions are pouring out and so are hers, yet they don't realize they're just hurting eachother. i dunno, it's my view on what its about.
