Brook Trout On Chironomids (EARLY ICE OFF)

Me and my good buddy Matt go on a road trip to the BC interior for a few days in search for Early season trout! ended up finding a lake with some beauty Brook trout feeding on chironomids!..Enjoy the first part of our trip!

Awe to bad, we had no idea that was you, Would have definitely came over and said hi.. looks like we were fishing the wrong side of the lake eh hahah

@@kodischwarz We got quite a few down there, but the entire shoreline of the lake looks really fishy actually.

Oh nice, and yeah all the shoals looked good... I guess we just hit the panic button to early then hahaha

Schwarzy’s Fishing The bite was pretty consistent from Noon until 3pm. Would have been earlier since chironomids were coming off pretty good, but it took us too long to figure out what depth they were feeding at. Once we got that dialled in it was one after another.

Oh that’s awesome! We were throwing the kitchen sink at them, leeches, searching patterns, scuds, anywhere from 4 -12 ft of water and didn’t get a sniff, but then again we only gave it like 40 minutes haha.

Haha we’re all just buddies who have been fishing together for yearrrrrs haha there’s always battles haha all just for fun
